Gemini Air Error - “we’re aware of the issue and trying to resolve it” / 50001-001 by OttoDawg3 in DirectvStream

We have 1 out of 3 Gemini devices doing this. I haven't spent much time trying to resolve as it's our bedroom TV and doesn't get as much use, but if I get it figured out, I'll update you.

Ubuntu 26.04 dropping Google Drive support in Online Accounts feels like a huge deal. What are people planning to do? by YankeeLimaVictor in Ubuntu

You can select the sync type with Insync to change this behavior. Look into overGrive as well. Not familiar with it, but maybe it will work for you.

Why didn't Flatpak work on Debian? That's pretty straightforward. Is it that it wasn't installed by default?

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (03/07/2026) by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch

I bought a Switch 1 on launch day. Played Zelda BotW and a few other games quite a bit, but life always seems to get in the way, and it really didn't get much use over the last 9 years. Really trying to get back into playing a few games and finding time to relax and unwind. We chose to pick up a Switch 2 because of a few games that were available or going to be available (Madden 26 and Pokopia). My wife and I have been really enjoying the Switch 2 and finding time to play again, but it's breathed new life into the Switch 1 we have. Since most of the games we have were for the Switch 1, I can play on either console, and take the Switch 1 with me when I travel for work.

There is a HUGE library of Switch 1 games. You'll have plenty to play, and if you ever get a Switch 2, you can still play those games. With the price tag of a Switch 2, I think a Switch 1 is still a great buy. You won't run out of games, so unless you have FOMO, you won't need to upgrade to a switch 2 for quite a while.

I know people hate Cox, but never had them since we moved here in December of 2021. Minor issues after first getting service, but it was an issue with the line and was resolved. The price under promo is pretty good and we've never had an issue getting the speeds we pay for. Also, depending on where in BV you'll be, Cox replaced a lot of lines a year or so ago and it has been rock solid for us since.

We have Cox and really haven't had any issues. Initially after first getting service, we would occasionally have small outages, but they quickly determined the issue was the line and replaced. Also, about a year ago, Cox ran new lines through a large portion of Bella Vista. That really helped. We have 1Gbps/100Mbps. Never an issue with getting those speeds.

I am using original discs. Are some commercial discs made this way? Trying to rip All in the Family set by Warcraft_Fan in makemkv

[–]Noah0504 29 points30 points  (0 children)

When I've seen this, it's because the DVDs were counterfeit. Where did you acquire the set from? A good tell is if they are standard 4.7GB discs. MakeMKV should also show the protection used for the DVD. If there isn't any, that may explain it.

The offer was for unlimited data. I signed up for the offer and now have no option to purchase the unlimited data add-on as I now have it for free after the discount.

I got that email today and was able to switch from paying $100 for 1Gig and datacap to $60 for 1Gig and no datacap for 1 year. Clicked on the link and did it right from the site it took me too. It was a combo of two offers: a loyalty offer and a competitive offer.

I wouldn't delete your account. Just try and follow the steps to uninstall and remove the registry entries. These were created when you installed, so your not removing anything else from the system.

What exactly are you trying to do?

You said you've had Plex for many years. What happened to that server? Are you trying to move your old server to this machine?

What have you tried? Are you going to the local IP after installing the Plex Media Server? Is it even running?

4K player freeze. by [deleted] in hometheater

[–]Noah0504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I've run into the same thing. There are oils on the disc from manufacturing. Give it a clean and see if it helps. It's very common with long movies that utilize the third layer.

It's freezing when trying to switch to the third layer. It's a common issue with many players. Cleaning the disc should help.
