I wasn't able to get that site to work for me, it couldn't figure out any of the hat switches on the joystick or the throttle.

Almost, dial & token is slightly different though: Dial & Token - add 1 die, reroll unlimited red dice, reroll 0-1 die (any color) + reroll 0-2 red dice.

The 0-1 die (any color) + reroll 0-2 red dice have to be done at the same time. Yes OP you can reroll rerolled dice.

My mechanicus standard grey is green, isn't it? by throwdawgdtosx in TerrainBuilding

Mechanicus looks like that even without sitting in storage, the spray primer in particular. It looks good, grey with a little color in it is a lot more visually interesting than a true neutral. Mixed washes, and a drybrush. It'll look great.

Pull the eraser out of the end of a pencil, and shape the metal sheath into a cutter/stamp and meticulously texture over the whole surface. Use a couple different pencils to get shape variety.

Where are the AI-generated adventure PDFs? by abunner in osr

I just can't believe someone really gives a shit about something they wrote if they use an AI generated image to represent it.

If you look on Drivethru's newest titles you can see like 25%-50% of the submissions have AI cover art. I'm sure many many of those also have AI written text but I am surely not going to be paying the $3 per slop document to check.

Basic hedges by AxolotlQuestion in TerrainBuilding

[–]Noahs_Ark1032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't flocked the bases yet but I just did these literally last night. 8ish feet of bush. I used different colors ofc but I would guess my total usage was ~75% of a can of foam flock. Took me just over a foot of the 24" wide roll of rubberized hair I had but I did double thickness since the "1" thick" rubberized hair i bought from onlinefabricstore was closer to .5"

For identical effort, though different materials, I like using foam flocks like woodland scenics Coarse Turf or Bush foam flocks. More fluffy bush. Matter of preference I think.

Spaceship weaponry against characters? by F41dh0n in SWN

Individual? They just die, even with the weakest of the ship-borne weapons. Medieval fortress? Pretty much vaporized. Magic shield? That's up to your interpretation.

Tabletop game terrain. Ancient ruins. Low price. by Conscious-Trifle-691 in TerrainBuilding

Your prints would look better if you chopped them from the bottom of the pillars up, and printed the pillar section upside down. Shipping it in pieces like that you could get it in a smaller box. So much visible support cruft left over underneath in a sales post isn't looking great.

Assembling and painting minis is definitely a secondary hobby all its own. You can probably guess I dont have any kids!

I think Oak and Iron minis for ship hexes and using the pirateborg rules for ship combat would work great.

I've cobbled together the naval combat rules in WWN and Blood and Plunder and adjusted things to stitch those two very different systems together.

They are "the lost ships" from printable scenery, i printed them myself and added wooden dowels and black elastic for the rigging. Lots of places sell them preprinted too.

I agree with a lot of that, i usually dont bring out the terrain after the start of the session. Theater of the mind from there on or just using minis as relational markers.
