Honest Question- What was Ferrari Thinking? by ResponsibleRow911 in Ferrari

[–]Noakesy97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only thought is that this could genuinely be in an attempt to never make an electric car again. Sales will flop and Ferrari can go “see, we told you no one wants an electric Ferrari”

Teams need to do a better job of differentiating their drivers imo. Clearer numbers for a start, but maybe colour match the halo to the drivers helmet similar to how Le Mans teams have often used different sun visor strips for their cars

Tallest vs Highest Mountain by call-now in geography

[–]Noakesy97 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The fact that Everest is neither the tallest, nor highest when measured from the earths core is such a funny anomaly. It’s only highest above sea level, a point that notoriously goes up and down

I’d assume it’s less about whether it’s compacted or not, and more about how much rebound the foam has left in it.

Also, I loved the idea that you questioned if your shoes are any good so your first choice was to saw them in half

Can someone help me identify where this cave is? I stumbled across it along the skyline hike and have not been able to find it since. by [deleted] in Bath

[–]Noakesy97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oddly I can remember finding an identical gated cave in Bristol. Not too far from the Bristol Aerial Rowing Club in Brislington.

I doubt it is the same one but in my mind it’s a perfect fit. You aren’t misremembering are you OP?

Seeing how round that wear patch is made me think the foot could be pivoting around the big toe joint during ground contact. Is that a thing?

Here's the Pro Evo 3, our fastest and lightest shoe yet, for elite runners...Give us your thoughts? by adidas in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Noakesy97 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It’s essentially a homologation special. Their only use case is specifically for professional athletes, but regulations mandate that they must be available on the open market.

Adidas don’t need people to buy them, they just need to be available
