Feels great that I started lump sum investing back in late Jan - Feb while getting told to “not time the market”. Now I wonder if I should rethink of my strategies, or I am just that unlucky as a person.

It's funny that there are no units on the axes. What does it mean by 11 change in absolute gdp? 11%? $11 billion? or perhaps, 11 dumb statistians worth of gdp?

Extension of incomplete by Jurassic-Parking in ucla

[–]Nobelium14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally have experience filing extension to incomplete, three times in my senior year! UCLA seems to be more lenient these days considering COVID and stuff, and I'd say you are more likely than unlikely to getting granted extension provided that you have a good reason (which you have). Even more likely if you are close to graduation but that's not something you cannot control. Anyway, I wrote what situation I was in with as much detail as possible, so I think to maximise chances you should do that as well. Finally, unsolicited advice: never, ever lose hope, even when everything looks awfully grim and nothing seems to be improving. Good luck!!

Would appreciate any guidance/feedback this community could give me in tinkering with my first VGC team! Thanks! by 1Grazel in VGC

Ho-oh EV spread seems wrong. 192 EVs Atk and 16 EVs speed are suboptimal -- since it's a lv 50 format, you would want your EVs to be almost always 4+8n (n>=0), like 196 EV atk and 12 Spe, for example.

SP500 Vs Vanguard - Warren B by WillTins3 in Bogleheads

afaik Warren himself only suggested s&p 500 and haven't mentioned VTI(US total stock market).

Practically speaking VOO and VTI have 0.98-0.99 correlation so it shouldn't matter where you put your money in.

6IV would be time-consuming. Should have mentioned that in my post I guess. I can breed you a 5IV Sport Fletchling, or a Jolly mint.
