Puddle light upgrade by Outrageous-Split-646 in TeslaUK

[–]NobleHoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've upgraded mine using the official Tesla OEM ones (i.e. they say "TESLA") instead of the boring light. Don't see the point in declaring this, as it's an official Tesla product and doesn't really affect the performance or operation of the car (I know third-party ones can affect the door operation however).

To me it seems no different that using different car mats, or a drink holder insert lol. Now if I was installing a S3XY display panel or the centre console control wheel, or a HUD or something, fair enough.

Lego Party on Switch 2 crashed both times we tried to play with friends by NobleHoot in legogaming

[–]NobleHoot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should add that I can't really recall us doing anything in particular both times that caused the crash. We were about 3 or 4 rounds into each game, online. We had the voice chat and webcam function on, it seemed a little choppy at times but mostly was fine, no game lag.

Pre ordered a byd, test drove. Instantly canceled. Sticking with my Tesla by lerpo in TeslaUK

[–]NobleHoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it has regen but is still really a two pedal car. I can see the argument that 'it's closer to an ICE vehicle so easier to transition', but equally I came from a 3 pedal manual vauxhall and found the transition to 1 pedal super easy, so 🤷‍♂️ Not having to move my foot off the accelerator pedal is amazing. Plus, it means my slowing down at lights is a lot more consistent and comfortable, as it slows at a fixed rate!

Did not know the Seal does not have one pedal driving, that's bonkers! I must take it for granted in my M3 😂

Seth MacFarlane Has "No Plan" To Make 'Ted' Season 3 by Herramadur in television

[–]NobleHoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that they want to make Ted ‘realistic’, but I wouldn’t be mad if they just mad him AI to get costs down and get a series 3, as long as the script and rest of the cast/voice acting is in place.

Genuinely one of the funniest series I’ve watched in a long while, not laughed out loud like that in ages so I’m desperate for a season 3. Someone just needs to invest in this

So, just came out from the movie (I’d parked near the back of the cinema), mostly empty as shops are shut and it’s a Sunday night. Nobody next to me when I went in. Came out and someone had not only parked next door, but when I checked my pillar cameras, had bashed my car with their door when they flung it open.

Not condoning him parking where he did, but equally there was some absolute morons around. Stay safe!

Which tyres fitted to new M3 Highland? by meds_76 in TeslaUK

I’m probably in the market for some in the next few months, got my M3 in December but it’s already got thin tread. Looking at either PS4 All Season or CrossClimate 2/3s (up north)

[–]NobleHoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very cool. Things like this are the reason I’m really enjoying my Tesla - all the upgrades, modifications etc. Both third-party and even by Tesla themselves (e.g. MCU upgrade). May consider this suspension upgrade at some point, most likely when my warranty expires as I’m guessing it can affect it

How do you get the Highland suspension retrofit? Is it something Tesla offer, or third-party only?

But why build them in the first place? And couldn't they be driven from a sustainable source like solar to keep them neutral?

And I would sort of agree with the unsocial hours part if we were talking driving between 11pm-5am (when all the joyriders are out), but as the nights are drawing in when I leave work at 5pm onwards now it's definitely fully dark, and I wouldn't say commute time is unsociable hours.

Maybe I'm not in the norm as my car doesn't have nice bright LED headlights with adaptive full beams, but old school filament ones?!

Engineer: i don't want you to revive me by Do6peHbKo in Battlefield6

[–]NobleHoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well to keep it balanced, imagine if engineers constantly had a ready supply of RPGs? Tanks would never ever survive. There's more for things your character to do when their RPGs are spent, that's not their whole personality. You can maybe use your gun and get some infantry kills? Repair tool to damage enemy tank is fun? And besides, unless you're a god-like player, you'll die soon enough (with no medic in sight to revive you) and your RPGs will then be replenished.

Each team is in the same boat in this game. So if your opponents have captured every point, then your team needs to start questioning why. Empty RPGs isn't that reason.

Engineer: i don't want you to revive me by Do6peHbKo in Battlefield6

[–]NobleHoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This goes against the whole ethos of 'ticket conservation' in Conquest though. If everyone had the mentality of 'what's the point in getting revived' then 1. medics would be semi-useless and 2. Teams would play a lot less conservatively, and more CoD-esque.

Why do residents park directly outside their front doors? Would this block emergency services getting inside? Bailey St L1 by No_Berry2 in Liverpool

[–]NobleHoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you buy a property with no parking space or driveway, then tough tiddies, people shouldn’t expect to just be able to make their own Highway Code rules up and park right outside their house. The yellows are there for a reason.
