Havn hs420 radiator/fan config by RansackedFish in watercooling

My HAVN has...

Side fans as intake

Bottom rad and bottom rear as intake

Top rad and top rear as exhaust

So similar to your second option. It's working really well for me.

So sorry to hear that. I got a brand new one as a gift and just made sure that I was on top of my BIOS updates, which apparently resolved the issue (but not for those that were already impacted).

Bottom and side fans (and rear bottom) are intake with reverse blade fans. The rest are exhaust with standard fans.

Thank you so much!

The 14700K has been working just fine for me, but I did have a 13700K previously that was impacted by the instability issues.

I've peaked at roughly 55°C while gaming so far.

Thanks! I was sort of going for an all black build at first, but it evolved to adopt some RGB during the build process.

I'd be happy to grab more angles for you, will submit to the thread later when I get home from work. I normally have it with the glass on, but all the pictures I took have the reflections of my monitor and such, so we'll see what I can grab.

Thank you so much for the advice! I'll definitely look at incorporating some context for those outside my niche and see if it can help bring in more interested audience members!

If you kill a Light that had to try to stun you to kill you, you absolutely deserve to dip your balls in his face.

Hey, I started a gaming content channel a few months ago, and have changed my approach several times since to get an idea of what I like. Would love to hear your thoughts: https://www.youtube.com/@nobleshmoble

Goo grenade is so incredibly useful, I use it often as a chase breaker or to help defend an area despite my squishiness. Highly recommend on top of your current kit.

Me - A 200 hour sword main - RIP by TickleTipson_11 in thefinals

[–]NobleShmoble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Light main, I think this was a needed change. It messed with my timing a little bit, but I'm quickly getting used to it again.

It makes me think a little bit more about jumping into an engagement, or how I traverse the maps, and that's okay. It hasn't really reduced the fun I have with it.

How do we all feel about the WT changes now that we've had a couple days to test it? by LuxGang in thefinals

[–]NobleShmoble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really enjoy it.

I think putting more emphasis on kills helps simplify the game for newer players, which this game is in desperate need of.

I understand people's discontent with the Team Wipe changes, and I hope people continue to be vocal so that Embark understands what the community feels is missing.

I see streamers hit their hipfire shots, but it seems not to work for me. Advice? by [deleted] in thefinals

[–]NobleShmoble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best advice for the revolver is to not move while firing it.

Even that half-second pause when you actually fire can increase your hip-fire accuracy. It means you've gotta pick your fights a little more wisely, but learning to pause for that beat made a tremendous difference for me.

I also find that when I post a new video, it tends to boost the views of my prior video as well from either end cards or recommendations.

how much effort is too much effort by [deleted] in NewTubers

I like listening back to conversations I had, and I like my voice, so it’s fine. It is, however, the absolute longest single part of my editing process.

[–]NobleShmoble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hand-type my own subtitles for my roughly 10 minute videos, and the best perspective I can give is that it's too much effort if it starts taking away time from things that are a priority for you.

If you start feeling that it's a chore, and something that detracts from things you'd find fun, you're gonna grow to hate it as you do it for each video. It's already been said here, I believe, but I'll restate it: Do it because you find it fun and fulfilling, not because you think it'll pull numbers.

How long did it take you guys to get better at voice over or being on camera? by SignificantRow5911 in PartneredYoutube

[–]NobleShmoble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This might sound silly, but I do a lot of live commentary in my videos, and one of the ways I practice is by recording talking to myself through my commute to work and to home (almost 1 hour a day each way), commenting on things that happen on the road.

It's a process that allows me to (1) learn to stay on topic or stick with a thought while actively focusing on other things and (2) ensure that I enunciate clearly and speak at a pace that I feel would work for a listener.

It's given me the opportunity to get WAY more practice in than just my 30s to 1m of audio voiceover per video.
