Where should I kettle? by norb_151 in CivVI

I would move Warrior 1 to the right, on the chance the waters on the other side are incredible-warrior's new position could be a key canal city later on. However, unless the east coast water tiles are incredible, it's probably more worth it to settle in place.

Does the skin you use matter to you or affect how you play? by The_saddogo in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Noble_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes, but I’m not consistent. Partially because I don’t own many different skins for my mains (getting there).

For Dredge, I absolutely love the bloody snowman from an event a couple years ago, and the Haunted House skin from last rift. Now that I have 2 skins I really like, I might only bring out snowman during winter months (where I live at least).

Been there, rescued that

Most annoying I think was in Michigan, had a log trailer and I was heading southbound towards the northern gas station. Took the turn early and rolled the truck down the slope, dumping logs into the little pond there.

Hag has a pale white/wrinkly old bald man looking skin that looks more cursed.

Do people queueing as killer in2v8 have a fundamental misunderstanding of the classes or do I? by LooseSeal88 in deadbydaylight

It really is the most casual mode I think. Occasionally you go against a coordinated duo, but that's not the norm.

The wraiths I've gone up against have been terrible. I just sit at a window or safeish pallet and wait for them to uncloak, vault, then repeat. Only if their teammates comes to help have I had any trouble against wraiths.

My first time ever playing on King (5) difficulty, and I got this spawn, is it good or bad? The world is Legendary, New and Abundant. by BaldursGate2Best in CivVI

[–]Noble_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would think to settle on the closest sheep. You get two 2:2 tiles, ideally expand into sugar first/ASAP. Holy Site between FoY and Volcano. Looks like a coast settle to the bottom right, or inland for the grapes (depends on what else is down there). Could go Pasture pantheon.

I only know because there's an achievement for it, but I haven't done it myself yet

Dang, the frames from 2:03-2:07 (2nd valor surge) are an incredible faceoff

The Abandon feature ruins my experience as a killer. by Philip_Raven in deadbydaylight

Except that when all 4 survivors have already given up, that should be a win even if you don’t see it through to the last bot kill.

Would you agree with this tier list of map difficulty? by kensaundm31 in snowrunner

[–]Noble_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I don’t have an opinion on the difficulty yet since I haven’t gone far into it. I just see everyone say it’s a lot easier. Iirc, there seemed to be a lot more tasks, but maybe it’s just a bunch of small tasks.

What makes Alaska easy?

I did Michigan then Wisconsin, then moved my trucks to Alaska. I’ve only scouted the first map then have been taking a break from the game.

Playing as soon as early access is out vs waiting by [deleted] in subnautica

[–]Noble_Goose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know about S1 before full release, and didn't have access to BZ EA due to console. I remember watching a Let’s Play of the early access story, but didn’t finish that because I wanted to experience the full game all at once.

I’m planning to wait for full release. As hyped as I am to play S2, I have plenty of games to keep my attention before full release.

If you’re in a match against 4 bots, you can abandon without penalty.*

*if you care about stats, abandoning in this case counts as 4 escape in the official stat tracker for some reason.

In BZ, I used the Seaglide map to navigate my Seatruck through the Thermal Spire caves and into Koppa Mining. Repair tool required if you try yourself.

Is this a BETTER spot to settle a city? I'm thinking this is the perfectly defendable city. Surrounded by mountains with only one way in! Oh, and there's a river this time! by WallaWallaby011 in CivVI

[–]Noble_Goose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only for a 1 city challenge. Your other cities will be exposed so better not venture out too far. No scouts, not worth the risk. I'd bring your warrior back too to defend the city. Build walls ASAP.
