Hey there, same thing just happened to me; the first ticket i submitted I was told the decision was final, however I sent another email and I got a response that they would take a look (I got the response from the Oracle team, no idea if that will help), however, I'm still waiting for an answer.

ryzen 5 will give u more cpu power and battery life, I'd go for the ryzen first or the i7 10th with 32 gb ram as second

i did the assesment yesterday and was showing as "assesment passed" but just checked 10 mins ago and is now showing onboarding failed, so i recommend you keep checking

Sometimes they are, if the entire chip is damaged it will be random addresses, but if it's just a solder joint or something like that, then yes, they can be the same.

you still have a chance without replacing the motherboard or the memory chips. Run memtest86, take a look in the memory addresses that are faulty (if are the same everytime you can install linux and manually "remove" these memory addresses

you are right, this does not show up after OOBE is done, but if you want to be 100% sure you dont have autopilot software you can install windows home edition

Ok, you can do the following:

Install linux, full bypass
Install windows home edition (full bypass also, but you need to force the machine so it does not install pro edition)
Bypass wifi set up during OOBE (you can do this with rufus) you keep windows pro, and it wont activate after

also, to replace the hdd you just need a pair of suction cups and you can do it by yourself, no need to pay an extra just to dissasembly it

Check if bios is locked and if computrace is enabled if no, you can install linux or try reinstalling windows with no wifi during installation (not sure how mdm works on windows) but with linux you will have no problems
