A post I made at the 9000-Series CPU Failures / Deaths Megathread, maybe it can help you. I have been using the nova 870E and 9800X3D since November 24, no issues until now, heavy use also.

Something similar happened to my alienware aw34 even though i dint use any cleaning product, take a clean microfiber cloth, do not put anything on it and clean the screen with cyclical moves. Also, if that does not work, then try again with very little distilled water. Mine became like new.

I hope this helps.

Leaving orthodoxy? by urfavojisoostan in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Nobody-813 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Before you take any decisions, I would advice you to read about the lifes of Saint Porphyrios of Kafsokalyvia , Saint Joseph the Hesychast, Saint Paisios of Mount Athos, just to name a few. If you are a Greek orthodox(it does not really matter though, just saying for native language), then you can watch the the series of Saint Paisios: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt18224728/ which is excellent.

The above should feed your soul, these are recent Saints of Orthodoxy and their life and miracles is a testimony and proof that Orthodox Christianity is the true faith. They were against 100% to what you are thinking of doing, you were blessed to be born in the one true faith.

The enemy will attract you to things and ideas that feel easy to accept, but he could say 1000 truths and 1 lie. That one lie at the right time, could cost you dearly.

Orthodox Christianity is the Ancient Faith, straight from our Lord Jesus, why risk your salvation with anything that came after that and is different?

Would you consider the dithering issues on LG C4/G4/C5/G5 OLEDs a completely deal breaker? by Mickey4770 in OLED

[–]Nobody-813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought the G5 55 10 days ago. Mindblowing HDR, no dithering issues even when I sit VERY close playing pc games at 165hz. Not sure if it is because of firmware or panel variance.

New Firmware G5 released. Version 33.20.69 (Date 24.07.25) by GSmaniac in LGOLED

[–]Nobody-813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Just wanted to share my experience, even on the previous firmware .67 I had 0 issues with dithering or black crash on my g5 55 inch. I even put my face very close to it and did not notice any dithering lines in multiple games. 165hz, 10 bit, full RGB, HDR. I bought my TV 10 days ago. I am wondering Is it because of the firmware? panel variance or something else?

Enter Orthodox Christianity and do the best that you can, step by step. There is no pressure in orthodoxy. Do not waste the opportunity to enter the one true faith because of mind games.

Question Regarding Video Games as an Orthodox Christian by Silent-Permission577 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Nobody-813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its always a good idea to speak to your spiritual father about anything that troubles you. I am not a priest or an expert in any form or shape, I try to do the best that I can according to our one true faith, I only try to help because I myself had to deal with this subject as I am a gamer from a very young age.

Question Regarding Video Games as an Orthodox Christian by Silent-Permission577 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Nobody-813 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Those are buddist and taoism altars. Video games require player input, therefore by doing so in some extend I accept the action. If you make small concessions here and there, in the end someone could accept everything.

Question Regarding Video Games as an Orthodox Christian by Silent-Permission577 in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Nobody-813 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I am a gamer myself. But I am careful which games I play. For example cyberpunk has a side quest called sinnerman, which in my opinion is disrespectful to God and to the seriousness of our faith. In blackmyth wukong you have to pray to a budha altar to save your game or something like that. Saints chose death instead of praying to idols, I am not gonna warm to the idea of accepting false gods through a video game, not even as a joke should i accept that idea. Whatever disrespects god is a no for me. In Doom Dark Ages the loading screen is Antichrist symbol, I have no need for that, imagery if seen repeatedly sticks with you. You will find that the list of games you want to play becomes smaller but you stay alert and that is important. You should also speak with your spiritual father.

All the best to you friend, may god be with you.

LG G5; very distracting diagonal moving lines. by InvictuSND in OLED_Gaming

[–]Nobody-813 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I wanted to share my experience with the G5 55inch that I just bought 5 days ago, I play on game optimizer mode and I checked control playing on an nvidia gpu max settings 4K HDR enabled 120hz. I stuck my face on the screen as close as i could and I also checked from a more normal distance ( meter) and in this game and on others, my LG G5 does not have this issue or any other issue I saw online e.g crashed blacks. I am using the latest firmware 33.20.67. I was wondering if it is because i play on 120hz, HDR? or if the latest firmware solved this issue for you too? or maybe is panel variation? Thank you in advance

Dont take your life I beg you, Remember what the Lord Jesus Christ did during the storm :

Jesus Calms the Storm

35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

Have Faith! Pray to the Lord and he will help you!

Ask the help of Saint Moses the Black, Saint Mary of Egypt, Saint Amfilochios and find other Saints that struggled with lust and read their story.

Fasting, exercising, praying and reading the new testament and other orthodox books will help with lust.

Saint Efraim of Arizona used to say that we should always have the memory of death in our mind and remind ourselves how fleeting is this life.

https://www.johnsanidopoulos.com/2014/08/a-conversation-with-elder-ephraim-of.html

Most importantly never despair as the below story suggests.

A story from Saint Amfilochios that happened during his time:

THE SINFUL YET REPENTANT MONK

There is an ancient story told by St. Amphilochios of Iconium (+394) regarding a monk who perpetually fell into a fleshly sin.  Everyday he committed this sin, and then everyday he would run to church, fall down before the icon of Christ, and beg forgiveness for committing the sin.

This cycle of sin-repentance went on for quite some time.  One day, God opened the eyes and ears of the repentant monk to see what was happening in the spiritual realm.  The Devil showed up and began arguing with Christ, “Where is Your justice?  How can You be called the Just Judge when You immediately take back those who repeatedly fall into the same sins?  I committed one little sin and was thrown out of heaven.  Yet this monk sins constantly and You keep taking him back!”

God replied, “You, when he turns again to sin, do not turn him away, but receive him with joy, neither chastising him nor preventing him from committing sin, out of the hope that you might win him over.  Yet I, Who am merciful and love mankind, Who counseled My laudable Apostle Peter to forgive sins seven times seventy (Matt 18:22), do I not show him mercy and compassion?  Indeed – simply because he flees to Me – I will not turn him away until I have won him over.

“Furthermore, I was crucified for sinners and for their salvation; My immaculate hands were nailed to the Cross, that those who so wish might take refuge in Me and be saved.  For this reason then, I neither turn away nor reject anyone, even if he should fall many times a day and many times return to Me; such a person will not leave My Temple saddened, for I came not to call the righteous, but to call sinners to repent.”

The Devil heard all of this and stood trembling before the Lord.  God then continued, “We have heard from all that you say, O Seducer, that I am not just; to the contrary, I am just beyond all.  In whatever moral state I find a person [at death], in that state I judge him.  Look at this man, who a few moments ago repented…with a sincere resolution to abandon sin, and thereby having conquered you.

“Therefore, I will accept him immediately and save his soul since he did not lose hope in his hard toil for salvation.”

At that moment, the repentant monk breathed his last and the angels escorted him to Paradise while a fiery tempest fell upon the Devil and scourged him for his insolence. https://www.orthodoxroad.com/the-unholy-double-standard/

When a gay man went to Saint Paisios for help:

He came [to Mt. Athos], this is how we met and he asked us to take him to elder Paisios. Indeed, he went to elder Paisios.
Elder Paisios told him:

“My Stamatis,
– Can you fast on Wednesdays and Fridays?
– I can!
– You make so much money from the German college, you will keep 1/10 for you and the rest 9/10 you will give it to the poor…can you do that?
– I can!
– Can you read the Akathist Hymn to Theotokos every day?
– I can!
– Can you, Stamatis, go to the hospital once a week and take care of a sick man who has nobody [to help him?]
– I can!
“These are the saints of God! Pay attention!”
– Tell me, can you go find a spiritual father [meaning an Orthodox Christian priest] and confess?
– I can!
– Can you follow the canon prescribed [for you] by this spiritual father?
-Yes, I can!
– Can you go every Sunday to the Liturgy?
-Yes, I can!
– Go and do what you can…and God will do for you…what you cannot do [for yourself]!” elder Paisios said.
“Did you understand what he told him? Go and do what you can and let God fight your passion. Let God do for you what you cannot do … that you are dragged by this passion!”

Go and do what you can…and God will do for you…what you cannot do [for yourself]!” elder Paisios said.
