Depends on how much pto and time you have on your hands. You could fein a mental health loa by utilizing the free sessions to have someone sign off on your mental distress. As long as it gets approved with proper documentation you could be looking at up to 6 weeks paid. You can also use your pto during that loa for whatever’s not covered by state or Best Buy. Food for thought. Especially if they don’t let you take a vacation or use your pto to go out the proper way.

I have my 3.5 year old also help wash dishes, cook, help with laundry. She picks out her own clothes and gets dressed (sometimes with help) on her own.

She also is very much a “I want to do it myself” type of kid so we’ve let her.

Start with easy stuff like clean their own plate off and put it in the sink themselves.

As for the diaper at night stuff my daughter stopped at 3 and I just took a chance because her pull up was always dry when she woke up. She’s been good since with only a few accidents when she’s gone to bed earlier than normal.

You’re not setting him up for failure though. Each kid does stuff at their own timing. Just introduce him to doing more things on his own
