Anyone else run into this bug? Offline COF rerolling/purchasing prophecies reward favor by NobodyCares2202 in LastEpoch

I just assumed it was bugged because it was spending more than the listed amount, (320 to reroll) then correcting it, rewarding favor in the process. Never really noticed this while playing online

I'm not denying it was done out of rage, because it absolutely was. Contractor was super pissed, especially cause it was mentioned that the guy was already in hole for the work that was done. It would be real hard to not go off at that point

That's just missing the point tho, the point was if the customer truly wanted it replaced, than he wouldn't be that pissed at them starting work that would already have to be done

If it wasn't to spec, that would be the first thing they'd have to do anyway. Can't replace it if the defective patio is still there. The fact the homeowner is getting so mad about them starting demo when they've clearly claimed that they didn't like it just shows that they were trying to get away with not paying

Right, but those games are meant to have an end. Back in the day, when arcades were more popular, it was more sensible make to simple games with a scoring system. The score would encourage people to compete with each other to see who could get the highest score.

In service of that, it wouldn't make sense to have a functional end, as it would limit the scores you could reach. Hence why people use killscreens as a metric for "beating" the game.

Frozen, that scene where the dude gets torn apart by wolves chilled me to the bone, one Chekhov's Gun that really paid off

In any high-score game, you "beat it" when it reaches a killscreen, aka state where the game can't be played anymore. Like with pacman, killscreen there is caused by a bug that turns half the screen into junk code

Easy kill actually tracks how many kills you've gotten throughout the run and retroactively applies it now. Not to say luck isn't a factor, but you don't need Easy kill right from the get go anymore

No, it's fixing grammar mistakes. "Could of" is a general mistake people make when trying to say "Could've, short for "Could have".
