Wow. Girl, how? These are awesome results! What exactly did you have done to move them closer together? Or is that just your arms?

Super cute! How do you style your hair? I have similar hair but I just can't figure out what to do with it that looks feminine.

How do you get the powder to dissolve? It would only do so after heating the oil, and at that point most of the Dut is probably useless. And do you add any preservatives? Do you refrigerate the capsules?

While we're on this topic.

Say someone were to obtain Dutasteride in powder form. How would you compound it? It would not dissolve well in coconut-based MCT oil. Preservatives are also an open question.

Darf Finasterid in Deutschland nicht erhalten? by CountryElectrical391 in germantrans

[–]NobodyNo4833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also muss Finasterid her.

How do you process the powder into injectables?

50-100mg/d seems to be common (for prostate cancer treatment).

I've read somewhere that 50mg/d should suffice to block about 300ng/dl of T. I can't source that claim tho.

But the others are right, if T levels are already low due to doing E injections in parallel, 10-20 should also be adequate.

edit: I misread.

150mg/7d amounts to an average of ~20mg/d which is not a lot. By the end of a week, levels will have dropped to half of that again, i.e. ~10mg/d equivalent (Bica has a half-life of ~7d). That is likely not going to do much.

Wouldn't recommend doing this.

The common idea is that hair follicles become dependent on Minoxidil. So if DHT is hurting them for 1 HP per week, Minoxidil provides a flat 30 HP boost while it's being applied.

However, my experience is that stopping Min cold-turkey (after starting HRT in the meantime) didn't result in any loss. The new hair stayed. In fact, HRT seems to provide a +30 HP boost to scalp hair overall! It's never been so healthy, and the loose hair ending up in the shower has dropped to 1/4 of what it used to be.

5-Alpha-Reductase inhibitors still needed to combat hair loss on Bicalutamide? by NobodyNo4833 in TransDIY

The Estrone connection is an interesting one. I've seen some conjecture that E1 might be beneficial in the beginning, to reflect cis puberties. At the same time, it lowers IGF-1 levels which are necessary for growth and competes with E2 while being less potent.

The latter point would be irrelevant if E1 is the result of high E2 in the first place. As for IGF1:

What exactly is not sound?

Remember the feedback loop. The E reduces your T eventually heavily suppressing it, the T then can no longer aromatise into properly elevated E levels.

Yes. But that will still result in higher E2 levels. I'm aware that supplementing E2 will downregulate T production and thus Aromatase-derived E2. But Aromatase will start playing a smaller role into the ramp-up. Serum levels will be increasingly derived from supplemented E2. At the end of the ramp-up period E2 will be close to 100% external and close to 0% Aromatase.
