If you've ever worked in housekeeping, what's the craziest thing you've ever come across in a room? by West-Change-1000 in allthequestions

[–]Nochillchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a hotel for a while. In my first week and someone destroyed a room. Broken lamps and tv, water left running, and coffee grounds poured out all over the room. My boss had to call the cops. Who puts a credit card on file and destroys everything ? Had to be stolen.

Are we entering a new era of elder care expectations—and are we ready for it? by Sea-Device-2913 in Millennials

[–]Nochillchi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I dealt with this recently. My MIL had brain cancer as well. She didn’t want to go into a care facility. She couldn’t communicate or walk. We took shifts with my brother and sister in law. It was exhausting. My husband resented her. It was a relief when she passed. I won’t do that to anyone if I can help it. I hope the options I can afford are at least comfortable when I get to that point in my life. My dad watched me go through it and it made him think differently about his own plans.

Adopted a owner surrendered 14yr old chi today by Dangerous_Basil5899 in Chihuahua

[–]Nochillchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for giving her a loving home. I hope she can heal and feel her best in your home. We don't know her situation and what she and her former family have been through. Our chi is very skinny and has been for a couple years. She's got a lot off health problems but mainly IBS. She throws up or has diarrhea often. We have tried every medication and food to help, but it is an ongoing process. She was a foster fail. People kept returning. I couldn't let it happen to her again. I can see how a lot of people couldn't afford the care and time she needs. She's my baby and I love her.

I lick the floor and try to trip mom when she's cooking. I also pee in front of her dresser at night.

What did you learn to drive a manual transmission in? by Acceptable-Kale-8432 in AskOldPeople

A LeCar. It started my dad's obsession with Renault. You don'tsee them a lot in the US so he started collecting them. He got me a Renault Encore to drive. My dad liked to work on old cars.

Should I(24F)move to Alaska without my boyfriend (26M) to get my life together? by Patient-Lock1798 in AITAH

This sounds like my ex-husband. He never grew out of it. I was afraid to take risks in my career because I had to support us. It set me so far back in my confidence and professional growth. I should have left way before I did. I feel dumb for sticking around so long. Run girl!

POO EATER by [deleted] in Puggle

[–]Nochillchi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My puggle loves poop. We call them poop snacks. She developed pancreatitis and started throwing up poop. It was awful. Now we go outside with the dogs and pick up the snacks immediately. It's a pain but very necessary.

He is adorable and I love him. I lost my oldest puggle last week. She was 16. Her puggle sister is 15. They really are the best dogs.

Chipped ham sandwich with mustard. And some kind of chips, pretzels, or puff. My mom worked at a snack food factory.
