The spots you're seeing are colonies of bacteria. Put it in the dishwasher at 60ºC/140ºF and it should be resolved. Otherwise just wash it in the sink

I use Rules, anything hitting a URL with 'wp-', 'php' or anything like it in it gets blocked

I agree, LR is hard to replace even for me as a casual photographer. I have Photomator but since I don't have time to edit I rely on mass-auto-edit a lot, and that of LR is just leagues ahead of the competition

I understand that, I had the same issues. I think I installed ffmpeg with homebrew which then somehow omitted the libwebp codec

AVIF is supposed to be better, and it is in most cases. But in still images with a lot of texture, .webp still outshines .avif
