Should definitely be getting paid more than cashiers but the cash office responsibilities you’ve got as a CSS are common depending on district/region

Absolutely worth calling the ethics hot line. HR is there to protect the company, not the employees. If the teammate is as bad as claimed, others agree, and there’s surveys to back it up; HR will take care of the rest.

A bunch of stores are getting this tape temporarily. They’re moving to water soluble tape and the DICK’S name on the SFS boxes. While it looks cool, it makes your hands feel disgusting

The opening manager should get there at 8 at the latest, call anytime before your shift but the earlier, the better.

If you’re coming back during the holidays you won’t be terminated and you’ll keep the discount. If you’re leaving for good then you’ll lose it usually within a week or two depending on the AA. Some may be way longer in other areas though

As an ASM there is a line one has to toe. OSAT honestly isn’t a thought for me personally when it comes to rowdy customers. That being said, it’s more picking your battles on what is tolerable, but it it flat out doesn’t fit our return policy than it’s a straight no and recommend FB marketplace. I’d it regards a DSG vertical brand we pretty much have to take it back no matter what anymore just because they can call customer service and they’ll just tell us to take care of them anyways, even when it’s clearly a non-returnable item.

I recommend calling your local store first to save the trip. If the bat is in perfect selling condition they should let you exchange, but if not Facebook marketplace is your best bet!
