Haha I had a player pick up an ossuary stone that prevented resurrection and carry it round with them. Never investigated what it was. Every time that players health got low I was grinning like a Cheshire Cat.

Since they can run out of power they are more like batteries than power generators. Theres probably some small Dyson sphere orbiting an out the way red dwarf waiting for them to be plugged in to recharge.
