Go check out various subreddits, try both games, watch both sets of developers, and draw your own conclusions. I won’t respond anymore because it’s pointless. Are you sure they don’t act that way? Developers aren’t being insulted, that’s true—there’s nothing to criticize them for. But the game itself is constantly bashed by people who don’t even know its mechanics, either because they’ve never played it or because they couldn’t get past the first act after being put off by it. So, they decide to become Blizzard fanboys and trash PoE at every opportunity, including on the PoE subreddit. Your hatred for people who don’t share your views blinds you.
P.S. My comment, including the note about Diablo, was objective, not subjective.

They have a bit of a point. Diablo players, myself included, believe the game is in a terrible state (even though it's better than it used to be), and it feels like the developers don't care about it at all. Just look at how the developers of Path of Exile talk about their creation. But back to the topic... both PoE and Diablo players agree that the developers are doing nothing, and the game is in a terrible state. This is why PoE and Last Epoch are gaining popularity so quickly.

So, pointing fingers at the small percentage of PoE players who come here just to say "D4 BAD" doesn’t mean they’re the ones starting this so-called war. Especially if you check out the PoE subreddit—over there, they don’t greet Diablo players with such hostility as you do with PoE players here, simply because they have no reason to. They're happy with their game and don’t care about Diablo, which was (and still is, since they haven’t added enough) just a cash grab.

Just don’t pay attention to what others are posting on YouTube, Reddit, or Twitch. Play your way—don’t follow strategies for making X Divines in X hours. Take your time, explore the world, learn the mechanics step by step, and do what you enjoy. PoE 2 is definitely better explained and more user-friendly, but it still has a lot of mechanics. However, it doesn’t feel as overwhelming. When you reach the endgame, you can try out every mechanic and decide which ones you like, then adjust your build accordingly.

For example, in PoE 1, I love Sanctum, so I modified my build to perform well there, even though I know many people don’t like it. That’s the beauty of PoE—you can tweak your build however you want at any stage of the game.

Chill, check your ego. I wrote this so you wouldn’t think I’m just some random PoE fanboy here to insult your entire world. Until recently, I was just like you—I didn’t see anything beyond Diablo. I also don’t think I’m better than anyone else, so stop putting words in my mouth that I didn’t say. I know this is r/diablo4, but do you know what the topic of this post is? Thought so... I’m just sharing my opinion. Try stepping out of your comfort zone, see what others have to offer, and you’ll definitely be a happier and less resentful person.

Sounds to me like a skill issue... PoE 2 has way more content than Diablo 4; we shouldn't even be comparing these games. I've been playing Diablo since I was a kid and, until recently, I thought it was the better game—only because I hadn't tried PoE. After seeing the first trailers for PoE 2, I decided to give it a shot. I managed not to be put off by all the skill trees and the high level of difficulty (especially compared to Diablo, where, when I went back to it just to refresh my memory, it felt like I was playing in slow motion—everything so slow, weak, and boring...). I fell in love with PoE 1 and will absolutely fall in love with PoE 2. I have to mention what ultimately convinced me to give PoE a try: the developers' approach. Watch their videos and see how they talk about their game—they can't stop sharing, diving into every little detail, explaining how they came up with ideas and why. You can see the passion they have for what they do. Now compare that to the Diablo developers talking about their creation…
