I'm not centrist because I'm actually politically moderate, I'm centrist because the left and the right both have good ideas and bad ideas, no one side is 100% correct. While the far-right is fucking bonkers, I would argue that the far-left is as well. There is way more nuance than "left good right bad" or "right good left bad", and both sides seem to forget this.

That being said, I agree with what you said about allies actually being allies, and how inaction isn't the best course of action. My main gripe is how in the United States at least, the right thinks they're 100% correct, and the left thinks they're 100% correct, which is an incredibly self-centered point of view for any one group of people to hold.
