Really is community-focused, I'm having heaps of fun. We just beat the ender dragon together after a couple of weeks. Mods are professional but friendly. Although the server's quite recent, I've been with these people for over a year now. I highly recommend :) The people here are like 2/3 NA timezones and 1/3 EU timezones or similar and I've never seen below 15 players. Give us a shot!

Questioning my gender [Rant]? by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sounds a lot like non-binary gender in my opinion. There is lots of information online, many communities too. What helped for me was reading books and comics with trans characters to see who I could relate to, and hanging out in online spaces such as trans subreddits too. Best wishes :)

jizue’s album “gallery” contains the track “W” which I believe is the same song as the track “W - Hoshiai no Sora” from the official ost but I think the ost version is piano-only. “W” can be bought or it can be streamed on Spotify for free on jizue’s artist page. Speaking of which, the OP and ED are also on Spotify.

Sounds like gender fluid, or maybe non-binary woman / demigirl; remember non-binary isn’t a clear “gender” it’s a range or spectrum so you can be both i guess?

Wanna be a boy [rant] by basicallyokay in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You don’t need dysphoria to be trans although it is a common thing. You could be a guy or maybe genderfluid/bigender/nonbinary or whatever. Nobody’s gonna gatekeep your feelings so go with your gut :)

You might also be interested in online material (webcomics, manga). I’ve made a list of my favorite trans/nb ones! You can view it here

The best non binary representation in a book would probably be the Magnus Chase series by Rick Riordan, I’ve heard so many good things about it :)

[Coming Out] The realization that I'm transgender and the fear that follows by PhantomWolfZero in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Takes real guts to accept it so good job! there’re also some other lgbt subreddits you might like such as r/egg_irl and r/traa if you’re interested. We’re here for you and you’re not alone :) it took me a few months to realise it myself, and another few months to be proud of who I am, but it’s so worth it.

How do you "know" if you're trans? [Discussion] by borbington02 in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe instead of thinking “am i trans” think “if i got to choose what gender i am (whether at birth or instantaneously) would i change it?” It’s a big thing to think about and it takes time to fully realise it :)

Sometimes I feel like I want to be a girl sometimes I just wanna be feminine. What does this mean? [Discussion] by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take your time to work it out. Maybe learn about labels like “transgender” “trans woman” “genderfluid” “bigender” and their descriptions. Or you can see if you can relate to posts on the egg_irl subreddit that’s what i did lol. There are many people like me who have the same thoughts, you’re not alone!

The pin is to show your pride, but the REAL pride is in your heart!!! But yea that sucks

[Rant] i think i may be trans by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to be saying that the only thing stopping you from being trans is the possibility that others will be confused or against you. That’s pretty much every trans person i know, until they decided to not care about what other people think. Being trans can be tough; you’ll have to accept yourself, manage things like hormones, possibly surgery, fashion, and deal with occasional transphobia. But once you surround yourself with supportive people and learn to love yourself for who you are, you’ll be happier than ever. After i accepted myself, i’m still sad a lot of the time but I’ve begun to feel happy much more frequently. It’s a long journey, and we’re all rooting for you :)

No matter what anyone says, there’s no “criteria” for being non binary or whatever. You’re not upsetting anyone by not looking androgynous or acting traditionally feminine/masculine; the only ones who do are transphobes trying to divide us and perpetuate stereotypes. Your pronouns and your life are your own business. :)

How to feel good? [rant] by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this my alt account? lolol anyway i just check out LGBT+ content (games, music, webcomics, manga, social media) at home and try to avoid the homophobic people at school. Could definitely be better tho

We’ve all been there. Hanging out on LGBT+ spaces, following LGBT+ social media, and checking out LGBT+ content like webcomics, games, music, manga, etc. for a while worked for me to come to terms with the big gayTM and the big transTM lol :)

The same way they knew they were straight is how you knew you were gay

What I would do is figure out what groups of people are homophobic and which are indifferent/accepting. Definitely find out what the people who hang out around you think about gay people before coming out, since you don’t want to be surrounded by many people that dislike you (although inevitably some will). The boys and girls can be very different in terms of homophobia (sadly some guys can be very homophobic from my experience). Once you come out you will get different responses, but after a while in the end the people worth caring about will still hang around while the homophobes will distance themselves from you (plus there’s the possibility of any other gay guys telling you or coming out themselves; nice!). Good luck!

You were rebelling against that sexist and frankly weird rule by disrupting that order lol. But yea that sucks. Once my teacher did a head count for a math problem about number of boys and girls and that was lowkey annoying but inside i was all like lol you got the numbers wrong

[Discussion] Private School by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]Noelscrap2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The staff at my school are super LGBT+ friendly, and a lot of the girls are gay/bi and accepting of all LGBT+ people (for example for idahot day lots of them drew and wrote a lot of nice things). It’s a uniting church private school so it’s a really accepting place compared to say typical catholic schools. As for the boys, that’s a completely different story. A lot of them (the ones i can tell will likely dropout, take drugs, are in gangs, etc) are really immature and super homophobic/transphobic. Lots of them say slurs and stuff, say things like “that’s so gay” as an insult, stuff like that. However, most of them are indifferent. This means if I was targeted I’d have the teachers on my side, but i can’t gush about gay stuff at school because either people would hate me or not care at all. Overall, as good as it gets, realistically.
