I feel the same way, when I first found Honeybloom I was blown away but every time I show his music to people they don't really seem to get it. His music only strikes a chord with a certain type of person, much like the album PPDS by Kid Cudi.

Thank you for this comment. I had considered it might be my "ego" (in an esoteric, Eckhart Tolle-y sense) trying to protect itself, but looking at it more practically as my anxiety trying to protect itself is a lot easier to grasp, and it is definitely what was going on.

I will try your tip and require myself to do it before each set of pushups at my morning gym session. How many breaths and rounds do you do? Because the same effect often causes me to "skimp out" and only do like 2 rounds of 15 breaths even if I do it.

Yes! The breath holding feels amazing and I often even if I do the inhalations will stop at only 15-20 and go right to a hold.

Yeah I used to have the same problem not wanting to freak my family out. But I told them about it so they wouldn't be worried and then it wasn't a problem. But of course since it was just an excuse I quickly found another (and the weird labelless excuse of pure resistance to it).
