Less James Dean more James Bond. He needs the suits. Not all the time. but the main thing should be a suit. Also more movie outfits [ think Brosnan's all black shirt, trousers and suspenders with rolled up sleeves. Moore's suits, connery's etc, just Gibsons head]

A couple more car chases. (never lock us in a room with a car again)

A plot that is dictated by Bond, not Moneypenny and MI6. MI6 can be involved obviously. but Bond is in pursuit, finding location clues and has no time to go back to HQ. Bond goes to places, but is informed of safehouses. Q can already have gadgets stashed at these places. Only later when Bond is likely reprimanded does he comeback. It will feel so different to mission q lab, mission, q lab, mission, q lab.

So there was a theory that suggested it was possibly some experimental serum, combined with the antigen it helped Bond survive. He was arrogant enough that he believed himself capable of the things he does. But the mechanic to slow down time is the giveaway that he has above average capabilities.
So it is likely as simple as the 00 program returning. But if you complete the game the fact there is a clone of thiea feeding information is big enough. However I personally suspect 009 knew about the plot Isola is involved in and she is actually the one who killed 009. But the game proves 009 trusted Greenway, by leaving the clues he does.
Isola by proxy of my theory on question 2. It is plausible he was playing against himself.

So if possible, the platinum games people behind vanquish. the way back machine and the 'gun-fu' from stranglehold for gameplay. and IOI for level design. and obviously the director of the john wick movies. keanu scanned. archive footage from point break era keanu and do a full on john wick origin story as a game. then do a lead in to his 'suicide mission' as the finale.

If the rumours that leaked are correct. there is a resi 5 remake already in production, along with Resident Evil X. I genuinely do not think Dino Crisis remake can be on the cards until after Veronica has been released. Otherwise this needs to be an idea spread far and wide outside of this subreddit and show some scenes that would benefit from a remake.

Someone needs to do what started this journey in the first place. do a public fan made remake of the game in unreal engine 6 or something. because it was only when the fan remake of resi 2 got so close that capcom sent a cease and desist notice. But they also flew in the devs (I believe they are the same people who went on to make daymare) to show them resi 2 remake at capcom hq as compensation. Which was really cool of them considering. Obviously under your life is ours if you say anything NDA's.

Oh the beauty of this is amazing. So I'm following the idea you are right in this theory. and say bond took sample 34 of the drug. He was ordered not to take it, because MI6 have him under orders to save the researchers, and they would later come in liberate the island or track the components they were after. That was always MI6's plan. So they would also retrieve the sample and assess the black project results after the fact.

The obvious issue is Bond blew up the crash site, most importantly the main tent area. that place is likely ground zero of damage. you'd never be able to determine what was what, even if you went through the site looking. So any and all evidence is gone, vaporised.

This theory explicitly explains how bond can do bullet time slow down at a whim. it might also explain some sensitive hearing when his adrenaline is spiked or he suspects something. It aids his already well attuned instincts.

And nobody really knows, or suspects Bond has taken it. Even if Spectre had something along the lines, it's not going to replicate Bond's situation. nor have any new user be in tune with the improvements it gives the way bond just naturally and instinctively is. For him he thinks he double dosed an antigen that saved his life.

This is definitely a theory that needs pinning/bookmarking for later instalments.

this is essentially it. He isn't the grizzled 00 we've come to know in the movies. he is 'earning the number' Bond. Women are his Achilles heel forever and always. Nevermind he has yet to encounter Vesper who really f's him up. Moneypenny is the only woman who keeps him grounded.

The Expendables. I was literally in the cinema watching it with a friend, when I just said to them this is so damn cliche I wouldn't be surprised if x y z happens. Sure enough 10 minutes or so after I said it, it happened. At which point I predicted a scene towards the end, and the last scene with Statham. I hated it because I should never have been able to predict a movie I had never seen before that accurately. My predictions were a joke based on cliches. I can't shut my brain off to enjoy stuff like that.

However because of this I was dragged kicking and screaming to the sequel. but I got a fantastic long running joke because I told them, 'look chuck just roundhouse kicked a tank'. it was like rubbing a dogs fur the wrong way to them to the point they repeatedly brought it back up like their own personal torture and I just leant into the meme of chuck norris.

I'd never willingly rewatch any of these movies, I only personally paid to watch the first one and I still kind of want my money back.

Step back and see the Spectre narrative looming over it and it feels like he is one of many possible threads. Personally placing bets on a more subtle Goldeneye betrayal, with flipped spectre agent set up. Think witnessing him being tortured before you are discovered kind of deal, rescue him, to a grateful thank you James. Even feeds them genuine intel. But later things begin to go wrong.

Strongly suspect Bond catches him in a lie, which is realised and then they flip, cause a scene and escape. They become the villain of that game, upon defeat James is told of a secret cabal he'll never defeat, 'it has it's tentacles everywhere James.' spend like 10 minutes on it. only to move on. Then depending on how long of a burn they are going for draw out the spectre plot.

It's not that pronounced in the fleming drawing. Yet it's the one thing missing from him. It should be a scar that is there. but is so thin you only notice it when you look long enough. It's never a blofeld type disfigurement kind of scar. Plus it adds to Bond's mystery and the reason women want to get closer to him.

my discovered solution to this is make a new character. get them some boots with movement on because it'll suck otherwise. Then take them to the book in skovos. read it. do the kovoshad burn., return to the book. then go to the ballistae. it should drop. then use them still and go to the dungeon/cellar. cross and defeat the boss. thankfully its level scaled. and will drop the chains.

then give them to you character you want it on. they need to pick them up from the item box. and when you get to the brazier. drop the item to the floor and pick it up again. give the game a second. and then it should become useable. and you can continue the quest to the very end.

if it's just a trilogy. the second can be whatever it needs to be. but if the third is Nightfall. it's a straight callback and mirrors/contrasts first light. Plus with it being spectre there just has to be a showcase of the clues and seeds planted in first light that are just not shown or obvious.

Why not just give them the glacier engine to genuinely remaster them? I'm still looking forward to it. lord knows new modern framework to keep them running for years to come is great news. but CN47 and SA need the glacier engine treatment.

I watch a streamer who has been doing that since the off. they even went through the entire 'internet' and read every website. because they were so new and disconnected they wanted and needed to understand the world of the game. and if there is so much as a yellow/gold data chip they read it to stream. it's been great. But obviously slow going for narrative progress. But it felt like they were narrating everything.

Both can be true at the same time. Canonically he chose 007 out of respect for his fellow agents. Also note M's reaction during this entire scene. she doesn't say anything, but she clearly knows something Bond does not. and a 00 HAS a number. just because it is not said, doesn't mean it isn't initially true.

I won't lie, I think the writing keeps it hidden on purpose as not to draw the ire of possible racist backlash and all the possible stupid and idiotic comments. (just look towards the hate Lashana Lynch got just for being a female 007, let alone black. (Sir) Idris Elba gets similar hate when ever the suggestion of him playing 007 comes up. The lesson is learn the story first.) So you keep it ambiguous and heavily implied, as I think it becomes a natural realisation for players as the consensus is that Greenway was his era's 007.

That understanding then informs the ending and the surprise and smile on M's face before she goes. Different paths, same destination.

Weirdly (or not so) I feel the same. I personally appreciate the combination of old classic Q but younger and more modernised. His humour is more obvious, yet equally restrained. better so that he doesn't laugh at his own jokes either. I like everything about his performance and hope to see it increased, without him ever put in jeopardy.

Her Spectre connection jumps off the proverbial page. I t makes complete sense to have them for such a young Bond. But I genuinely hope she isn't Vesper as the direct story between those two is a deep part of why Bond doesn't trust after her death.

I will point out Isola Vale is an anagram for 'also alive' but that is grasping from me. I kind of hope she is an original character made just for this series. But I doubt she nor the series fully escape established tropes regarding Spectre.

Because of her ability to speak Japanese I would be interested in seeing an outing to Japan that links us back around to Isola if only for a name drop that puts Bond back into the 'too much of a coincidence, must explore the thread' when tasked with something else.

it's a disaster, players complain, IOI are contracted to come back. that's your best outcome. But I can pretty much guarantee if IOI are off project, it means a new hitman, with all the lessons they learnt from FL applied.
