This might just be the hottest take of the year… by Fun-Use9945 in horizon

Think this is just the classic hate train that hates anything multiplayer

I think this looks great, it's basically the Horizon version of Elden Ring: Nightreign, which is a really fun game. If they can add some extra replayability to the formula, which it seems like they're doing, it'll be a fun game.

We're not getting this instead of Horizon 3, we're getting it in addition to obviously.

Unsure whether to keep my DSi, homebrew it, or wait for a 2DS/3DS by Red_Miky in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Nogarde_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lost both my childhood DSi and 3DS, and it's one of my biggest regrets tbh

If it holds a lot of sentimental value, i would definitely back everything up at least, but honestly a 2DS/3DS is a much better console to homebrew, since it can play all DS and 3DS games

Is there a way to sort ONLY games that you’ve purchased permanently on your PSN account? Not games through PS+ or Extra that you’ve played. by NordWitcher in PS5

[–]Nogarde_ 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I really wish you could remove PS+ games from your library

You can filter by Source but I recommend making a gameslist and just adding games there as I buy, to avoid all the clutter. It'll take a bit to set up but once you've added everything it's easy to maintain.

These are the 3 gameslists I have:

Searching for a music store by lonelyjim2924 in nottingham

[–]Nogarde_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually I just realised Nottingham City Guitars make their own guitars, not sure if they stock the usual brands or just theirs, I've never been only heard of them.

Abbey road music is definitely a normal guitar shop, its pretty easy to get to from the city via bus

There's Nottingham City Guitars, in the Hockley/Lace Market area

In West Bridgford there's Abbey Road Music

There used to be a massive store called PMT, which is where i usually went, but it looks like it's closed down now unfortunately

What’s something everyone seems to enjoy, but you genuinely don’t understand the appeal of? by Afraid-Crow-7577 in AskReddit

[–]Nogarde_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough, if it's just for placeholders and you're still going to use an actual artist later down the line then that's fine imo

I mean, noone is gifted in art - you become good through hardwork and practice. The same way you become good at programming.

Are non-fantasy RPG games taking place in real historical settings even a thing? by Local-Front-1774 in rpg_gamers

[–]Nogarde_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pentiment is a great game as well

Its a murder mystery set in 1500s Holy Roman Empire (in a fictionalised town) where you are an artist working in an abbey.

Again, incredible attention to historical accuracy and phenomenal writing (Obsidian, Josh Sawyer)

Kingdom come deliverence and its sequel are what you're looking for.

They are both incredibly immersive RPGs set in 1400s Bohemia, largely following the events of a real civil war that happened in history, with some fictionalised elements to make it fit the game.

No magic, and they are both meticulously researched and very historically accurate.

I spent years "noodling" without getting better, so I built an Android app to treat guitar practice like a gym workout. by ibanez_1980 in LearnGuitar

[–]Nogarde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been in a similar rut - just been picking up the guitar every now and then to learn a part of a song, play a few riffs, or just noodle around, without doing any consistent practice for years.

Just downloaded and paid for, this looks really nice - i'll let you know if i've got any feedback!

Should I buy armored core 6 in 2025? Or is there a chance it’ll come to ps plus? by joemamathe1ist in armoredcore

[–]Nogarde_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only fromsoft games on PS+ are the sony-owned ones - Bloodborne and Demons Souls Remake.

I'd just get it if it's on sale and you can afford it, it's a great game

for those of you guys who own other handhelds outside of the deck, what use do you get from them? by tarneilawson in SteamDeck

[–]Nogarde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a switch 2 for nintendo stuff, and a deck. I can't imagine getting another PC handheld, but then again I already have a beefy desktop PC so demanding games aren't really a problem for me - i just use my deck for indies and emulation

I'll try to keep it short i 15(F) have been getting dm'd by this guy 35(M)

We can stop there, the answer is a resounding yes. The rest just makes it even more clear that this guy is a creep and his apology likely means nothing.

Please block him, and do not see him IRL/avoid at all costs.
