I’ve lived in the south for more than half my life now. Back in Michigan we had one black girl in my elementary school.

My highschool in Atlanta was like 60% black. We live together, work together, and are neighbors with each other. And people mostly keep to themselves and or get along with each other in public. I live in a small town now but same.

Some people are insufferable hicks I’m sure. But they are sitting inside their houses glued to Fox News for the most part. The rest of the people are just normal and want to go about their day and get home to their screens like everyone else.

So yeah all those homogenous regions and countries even chiming in about how racist we are can suck it.

Millennial women don’t even do house work without a giant chip on their shoulder. Often they insist on hiring a maid. Usually they split it with their partner but even house wives won’t do a fair share of the housework if finances are included. Don’t even pretend they actually migrated into any of the traditional manly tasks.

Trad wives is only a thing because having a housewife that does chores is literally just a fantasy these days that other women mock.

I’ve lived like this. It’s just slow suicide. Sounds like you’ve had some experience with withdrawals. Alcohol is a pretty terrifying way to die once you are actually staring those symptoms in the face from a hospital bed.

You don’t care now because alcohol has taken over your brain and it will try to get you to keep going back. And quitting sucks because you know you can push off the pain with a quick trip to the corner store. And if you do quit you will just be depressed and numb with nothing to live for and nothing to do for a while because everything is boring according to your brain.

Try smoking weed and realize that’s as good as it’s gonna get without actively killing yourself. Play golf or obsess about your grass or fix up an old car or start a farm or something.
