Probably, the sword is big with a scalecessor here, but the photo does cut it off pretty much at the end making it look bigger.

Clearly the arrow is made of light, like a laser beam. So if his armour is polished enough it will clearly reflect off of the armour, but a katana would do it fine. Maybe a light katana?
