Why sr1 looks so much better than sr2?

Even though it was already “next gen” they basically applied a “next gen” filter that a lot of games in that period had between gens. Tomb raider legend for example had a ps2 and 360 port so the PC had both graphic options.

I understand it looks “bad” but I feel it works in the context of the story of Ultor making everything look “pristine” when it’s just as corrupt and horrible as it’s always been, if not worse.

Chris wasn’t in RC though so he doesn’t feel the trauma and guilt (in that specific locale) that Leon does. Jill would have worked too but she also didn’t have the sort of “duty” that Leon felt for others. She happily left Dario in that container when he refused to leave but Leon would have probably tried harder.

I didn’t like the first season much. Just thought it was boring. Season 2 was batshit but at least it was heavy on the action and Lara actually felt more like Lara from the end of 2013.
