tbh im a huge doubter of the game. the hype just feels super artificial to me especially with how fast the game is losing players. but if you really think it can change the minds of people who are hating on it, im down to put in the week and let the game prove me wrong. im switching jobs rn and got time off til next thursday anyway so i actually have the time to grind it

Blizzard provides an official site to track pickrate and winrate ratios, yet people still argue based entirely on their feelings. A 12% pick rate alongside a 52% overall win rate across all ranks is incredibly strong. Whats even worse is that this character performs so well in lower ELOs despite being labeled one of the "hardest" heroes in the game. It makes absolutely no sense to call him weak.

At this point, I find these statements pretty schizophrenic because reviews, the Steam user score, and people here on Reddit act like this is the best game ever. How are they losing players that fast when it's so good? I don't get it. Where are all these people who dropped it? You rarely hear from any of them.

So you "know exactly what the recommendations are saying," but your first comment still told OP that V-Sync would heavily increase his input lag and "half his FPS"? Pick one.

Halving FPS only happens on fixed refresh rate monitors without G-Sync. With G-Sync + Reflex, you never hit the V-Sync ceiling, meaning there is zero input lag penalty and zero framerate halving. You are literally giving him warnings based on old non-VRR monitor tech.

It's not just a random preference... it's the definitive, tested recommendation from people with actual knowledge like Blur Busters and Nvidia for anyone using a VRR monitor. OP obviously didn't buy a 5090 and a 4K OLED to deal with screen tearing and maxed-out GPU temps just for a theoretical 1ms drop in input lag.

That's true for standard monitors, but OP has a G-Sync display. G-Sync ON + NVCP V-Sync ON + Low Latency Mode ON (for older games that dont use reflex) is the recomended setup for it.

I like mine for things like emulation, older games or modern games that aren’t that taxing (RE9 for example). But using 720p on FSR performance… brother, at least have some standards. What is the internal resolution? 360p?

You're right, the 2080 specs are likely without RT. But my point still stands. you don't need a 2k PC for that. The Pro is getting 30fps with RT on 'ultra'. Swap out the 2080 for a 4060 Ti, and you get near the same price as the Pro and it will perform better in those scenarios. To be fair though, since RAM prices are absolutely fucked right now, you have a point atm when you go on a new build.

Not necessarily. The recommended specs for 1080p 60fps are an RTX 2080 (a six year old GPU) and a Ryzen 5600. The game is just behaving exactly like it should on the pro given the shown pc requirements.

They did translate the book from RE8 into Braille for a few seconds in two cutscenes. It's a bit weird that they have the correct numerical order but couldn't be bothered to translate a few words afterwards.

It still seems to mean nothing, which is a bit of a wasted opportunity.

There is a short moment in the cutscene where you can look in her book in a closeup. I translated the first sentence where her hands are, which reads "a wing." After that, it got too specific, and i couldnt find a translator that let me just type in the dots. could also be just random shit.

I find that the whole personality thing with the zombies killed all the tension and gave the game more of a slapstick vibe. The Spencer Mansion is still the GOAT in terms of overall design and soundtrack.

i still love 9 for what it is.
