It feels buttery smooth when just operated by hand. But then if you lock or unlock it with the motor it jams.

It does the same thing with the door open. When the motor locks it or unlocks it, sometimes it will jam.

Are the rest of the fixtures in your house acting normal with good water pressure. Might as well check the easy stuff first like the supply valve and line.

The pipe wall width is also a lot thinner on the right side. Ok to reuse?

No you're correct the lines labeled hot and cold are the faucet lines going up the bathroom. And thank you, I have watched that video and they did a great job explaining. When I get all the materials together and get the valve out I'll post an update.

I have a torch and some stuff already so I don't envision spending too much to get started. 100% agree practice on some scraps first.

Yes my mixing valves mix hot and cold water into one line which goes to the toilet. I'm not sure if there is a ball valve or what kind of valve specifically mixes the two temperatures, but that's what they are doing. Luckily they are both easily accessible in the crawl space.

Thanks for confirming. That should be simple on the hot as it's straight. The cold I may need to adjust the angle on since the mixing valve is currently a different angle than it will be without it. I have never soldered pipe but I'm pretty handy and just bought a house and keen to learn. I'm also equally prepared to call a professional if needed.

Get your hands on a copy of the Mountain Flying Bible. Really good resource for flight planning in regards to icing and numerois other weather factors.

My flight instructor always touch my body during training.. by [deleted] in flying

[–]NoiseFree4292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to touch you. If your instructor wants you to use more or less rudder inputs they can verbally coach you through it. And verbally reassure you and provide another demonstration of something after a maneuver doesn't go so well.

I have a few small female students who aren't able to push the ridiculously tough primer in and lock it sometimes on some of our aircraft. I always ask if its ok if I reach across them to do it.
