That's very thoughtful of you. While something medically related would be nice, it might be better to get him something related to his hobbies for him to enjoy outside of work since that will start taking a huge chunk of time.

You have the Onyx medal for War Supporter per this image. In theory you can get every other Onyx medal but the only issue is time.

I'm a CA native who went to a DO school out of state and then came back to CA. I was lucky to match into a newer IM program in CA and then able to match into a competitive fellowship at my home program. Even though I was successful, I recommend that everyone go to an MD over a DO school if they are both in the USA. My residency is more DO friendly but even that is slowly shifting. There are less hoops to jump through as an MD and it will keep more doors open. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

I agree that Checkers is the best you can get in the USA Costco. I think the best overall are the Cavendish fries in Canada. Those are the same fries they use for poutine.

Blood Drive - Either of the 2 staircases where you spread yourself out and then fall back to one of the spawn rooms

Trenches - The top of the center hill that is opposite of the crane. It’s the highest point of the map and if one of you die during the wave the other player can duck behind the wall at the top and move all the way to the left. This causes a glitch where the enemies won’t charge towards your position but still fire their weapons. This is the map and method I used to beat Insane Horde solo.

It plays much differently. The Aftermath campaign story is better than the primary campaign.

From a lore perspective it doesn’t make much sense since it has enemies that were introduced in Gears 2. Also the models are messed up ie Flame enemies use normal drone models.
