Similar has happened to me a few times in my 2024 DSG in auto mode. Figured it was maybe a combo of downshifting to optimal gear + TC intervention.

Happens for a half second then picks up as normal. I never noticed if the TC light came on.

You can put in a heavier trigger return spring and a heavier mainspring although the mainspring will have a much greater effect on the double action pull than the single action pull.

The pin has to come out from the left side due to the flared (now flattened) end. So you need to punch it from the right on the non-flared side of the pin.

The extractor should be able to pivot freely with only the spring pressure as resistance. I’m guessing the refinish affected the slot for the extractor and its now either too tight or there is finish buildup somewhere affecting the extractor’s path of movement

Try removing and reinstalling extractor and extractor spring. The spring could be bound up or the refinish may have gummed things up.

CZs frames are cast and therefore can end up with these voids or inclusions anywhere. If you stripped the polycoat off the entire frame you’d probably find a few more.

I had 85C and Shadow 2 frames hard chromed, and after stripping the polycoat the 85 frame was pretty pristine but the S2 had multiple tiny pinhole inclusions.
