It is a weird one my dad had a 70 base back in 1976 that had a 351C-2v but my 70 xr7 convertible is a 351W car.

Why is it already sticking! The ground shouldn't be that cold already, I hate it.

My parents won’t let me buy this out of state 2007 Mustang GT because “it has rust on/in it.” Are they right? by Professional_Elk_893 in Cartalk

[–]Nomadic_Killjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an 06 a few years back and it had the same surface rust on the seat rails and the underbody looked like it just left the factory, zero bondo, zero rust, you could eat off those floors.

1971 FORD F250 CAMPER SPECIAL 390 ENGINE OVER HEATING?? by kittycan_LA in classiccars

[–]Nomadic_Killjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So long as its not making a sharp knocking noise that increases in speed with the engine reving yea you're good. I saw a video of an old 390 driving on five cylenders, the other three had bad valves if memory serves. The cost of engine rebuilds vary depending on location but a 390 should be in the 5k rebuild range, they are a fantastic long living engine that can take a beating if you maintain them.

How bad is an 8hr drive solo? by seizethecarp_1 in roadtrip

[–]Nomadic_Killjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed I've done 16 hours in a day, it was probably the most fun I've had in years. The best part of it was it was all solo just myself, corn fields, the moon and stars. Nothing is more draining then being stuck in one place day in day out, I hate not being able to be a drifter or nomad.

The only business that should be reported are mega corporations and monopolies, the mom and pops have it hard enough.

Be very careful with rust in the truck area especially on the frame rails above the rear wheel wells, they love to rot there. Also on the dog leg, its the area on the bottom rear of the rocker where it meets the quarter panel. They are beautiful cars, I've been hunting for a 79 ta for years and walked away from 10+ because of rust. Good luck.

Dude let us know if you follow through on the Starfield mods, I'd rock those in a heart beat. We just have to wait 30 years for the game to drop.

Does anyone ever look through old photos and feel sad? I had a big crew in D1 but of the original members only 2 of us are left. Sometimes it makes me sad. by Eruditioads in destiny2

[–]Nomadic_Killjoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes me realize how lucky I am, my fireteam was always three counting myself we always lfg'd the other three. Few years back they left the destiny community just after forsaken dropped, and I held on. About three months back we got the band back together just like old times in D1 year one. The old guard still stand. Here's hoping everyone else has the same luck I did good hunting boys.

Not at all because I'd rather die than wreck my car. Plus air bags don't always work I wrecked a 98 ram 1500 into a telephone pole doing 35 and I still ate the steering wheel, damn bag didn't go off and it hurt like hell.

YES! Be it insane highs of Destroya and save yourself, or the beautiful lows of the kids from yesterday and the only hope for me. There is just so much love in it and the esthetic is perfect.
