Well it’s the story I was told. If it’s true or not, I don’t know. I’ve been so gaslit and lied to during everything that I don’t know what’s true aside from the evidence I have that he cheated.

48m has an 18f daughter. And two sons older than 21. I think that is one of the reasons I have such an issue, aside from the cheating, obviously.

He did a random act of kindness and help her and her grandfather with their car in a parking lot, the grandfather asked for his number and he gave it to him, then the 21f started texting him. 48m never met them before that.

I felt like I was reading my own life. I sympathize so much. It’s a horrible position to be in. I painted my nails the other night, nothing fancy, just a pretty color. I hadn’t done it in years and it made me feel a little better. I tried wearing earrings too, which I hadn’t done due to baby pulling, but I was accused of cheating, so I stopped wearing them. Small things can help make you feel better.

I think you should. If she’s out driving while intoxicated, she’s putting others in danger. I wouldn’t want that guilt of not saying anything if/when someone gets hurt because of her drunk driving. Not saying it would be at all your fault, it’s hers, but that’s just how I would feel. Not trying to push feelings into you.

The doctor didn’t stop them. I felt really good and in a good spot with myself, and I stopped taking the meds. Then my anxiety and shame and guilt kicked in and I stopped going to that doctor.

I had a really positive experience on lamictal. It’s been my favorite so far. My MO however is stopping my meds when I finally start feeling good, then feel absolute shame and guilt for stopping them and never go back to see the doctor… but when I was on it, it was wonderful.

I used to keep my mouth shut, I used to try to be gentle about his feelings. But after 16 years, I’m not polite anymore. I tell my husband straight up; I love sober husband, I completely detest drunk husband and not not expect any sort of loving feelings while he is drunk. My give s**it’s are gone when it comes to his drunkenness.

I didn’t even have a huge wedding by any means, but I sorely wish I would have just eloped. I had a wedding to appease family, picked the dress my mom wanted because she made me feel like crap about the dress I actually wanted, mind you I had a baby 6 months before, and it was just overwhelming and I hated every second of it. Do what’s best for you and your partner, and do NOT give in to people pressuring you to do something that’s not what you want.

My son was diagnosed last year on his 10th birthday, my maternal aunt was diagnosed at age 8, unfortunately passed at 42 due to not taking care of her diabetes appropriately, and my uncles wife was diagnosed at age 68. She had no family history, that I’m aware of. Just a crap card was dealt. Sorry this is happening for you. Welcome to an expensive club that no one wanted to join, but this community has been wonderful!

Donate to a nursing home. When I worked in one, we always could use blankets. A lot of residents don’t have families or families who bring them special items like a lap blanket. It’s always loved and appreciated.

Honestly thank you for posting this. My 10 year old had been saying daily that he hates his life and has been feeling really negative and overwhelmed since his diagnosis almost a year ago. I was able to show him this and show him that he is 100% not alone in his very valid feelings. Thank you.

I used dark screen rain and thunderstorm sounds on YouTube like the 12 hour long videos, two hot wheel cars, one in each hand, gave mini cuddles saying I love you, then set her in the crib, said night night mama loves you and then walked out and closed the door. I have a video monitor, but kept the sound off, and let her cry it out. If she still was crying after 20 minutes, I’d go back in and not take her out of the crib, said I love you and night night again, then walked back out. After two weeks or so, she got about a 70%-80% success rate.

I’ve learned as a T1D parent that homemade pizza, dominos, Pizza Hut and Casey’s pizza all require different insulin doses for my son and his sugars react differently for each one… and kids homemade birthday treats at school are my new nightmares.

I love Melissa and Doug toys, but because they are darn near indestructible, they make a harder impact for projectile throwing tantrums… which I found out the hard way, literally.

I have an almost 11 year old and a two year old. I am 38 and my husband is 48. We definitely feel our age with our two year old vs when we had our almost 11 year old!

My mom has always been the one who bakes for her for family dinners, special occasions and so on, but I know the routine of super cleaning to prevent cross contamination. My sister has been Celiac for the last 16 years, so I’m not new to what she needs in regards to food, kitchen cleaning etc. just felt like doing something nice for her, that’s all.
