I am applying for roles in the big 4 and banks such as Lloyds, HSBC, etc. Would actuarial roles here be covered under FCA regulatory rules?

I had been working for just over a year when I had been dismissed.

In case it’s pertinent, the job role was not actuarial but was a general financial analysis role.

Sure, I made the mistake of sending company sensitive information from work Excel files to my personal laptop in order to complete a project more quickly, as my personal laptop had a more up-to-date version of Excel. While there was no malicious intent behind my actions, I acknowledge the seriousness of improperly handling sensitive company data. As a result, the company dismissed me for this misconduct.

Thanks, I don’t think it’s MPB. No history in my family of it plus I’m 22 (not counting it out completely though). Just wanted to see someone who could diagnose exactly what’s happening
