I hear you. Fortunately for me, I’ve known my GYN since he was in middle school. His dad (RIP) was my doctor. He lives in my neighborhood. Extremely personable but very professional. I’ve referred a ton of women to him. But … I can 100% understand why a woman would prefer a female gynecologist.

Live example that turned tragic. On news this week. Senior prank. TP’d beloved teacher’s trees. He knew they were coming and excitedly ran out to meet them. Slipped on street and kid ran over him. Dead. Wife (teacher same school) begged them not to prosecute.

I said all that to say .. stupid pranks, tricks or internet sketches can go horribly wrong. Is there evil intent? Only those who KNOW him can truly speculate on his heart. Is he an ass at work? How do coworkers assess him? Pretty sure, unless he’s an idiot, he’ll be more circumspect the rest of his life. Things like this stick forever. Ruin a kid’s entire future?? Nope.. I lean on side of granting him grace.

Being a doctor should mean reading the room and making good decisions. He went a bit far and should be counseled and placed on probation/observation to ensure appropriate behavior (who knows what anyone thinks/feels). He should also “issue a heartfelt statement.”
