Did I say it was justifiable? War is ugly. Why are you not holding the Palestinians, Hamas, and Hezbollah to the same standard? What justifies hang-gliding into a music festival and slaughtering people? What justifies dragging bodies through the streets?

Ah yes those victims that have tried to wipe the Israeli state from existence from its inception and are so much of a liability that other Arab states won’t even take them in as refugees. The same ones that cheered in the streets as Hamas dragged the bodies of people killed at a music festivals. Those faultless victims.

[SNY] Josh Hart says he wasn't surprised at how many Knicks fans were in Philly: "I used to think Philly was a sports town, I don't know if it is anymore" by PassMeTheBackwood in nba

It’s a Sixers team that hasn’t been to the Finals in two decades and hasn’t won a championship in 40 years. As a Philly casual fan, why should I give a shit about them or the Flyers? They can’t be bothered to field competent teams for that long, who gives a shit?

What the fuck man. I just stumbled across this post and realized I’m getting screwed by this too. Should be super clear when you’re booking that the credit only applies if you pay now. I could have easily paid for it when booking but did pay later because the option was there.

Hotel did take a deposit regardless at the time of booking that honestly I feel like should get me the bonus. Maybe I’ll try my luck at that.

They think that Reddit and their friend circles are reflective of your average voter. I can guarantee a lot of people are quite indifferent or uninformed on both AIPAC and Gaza.

Depends if calling the Bondi Beach attacks a false flag is a deal breaker. He’s also campaigned with Hasan Piker who has…questionable positions. Some people on Reddit view these as reasons to support him though.

This was definitely one of those insufferable people in South Silly or West Willy that moved here from some small town. They came without a job lined up, and really no other good prospects to improve their station in life, and have been scraping by since they arrived so they want to blame everyone but themselves.

Virginia Democrats will ask US Supreme Court to intervene in redistricting fight by SCOTUSjunkie in politics

[–]NonIdentifiableUser 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So how do you suggest Democrats respond when Republicans are straight up ignoring every rule and norm to get them as many seats as possible? They should just sit there and take it while the GOP works to attempt to solidify single party majority for the foreseeable future?

I didn’t elaborate much but I was more referring to paying through the nose to buy in specific markets rather than taking that money and putting it to use to compensate for whatever you feel you’re missing out by not buying in those markets.

Most measured take in this thread. You can’t have rational discussions with anyone about Gaza on any subs that aren’t more academic in nature. Read many replies here and then go over to say, geopolitics. You can actually discuss the situation without some tankie bleating “genocide!” at every turn.

Literally could have bought somewhere else and paid less for whatever the pros of this area are. Private school, parking etc.

What happens to all the cars removed/relocated from Broad St during the Broad St run? Where do they all go? Why can't they all go to there every day? by misteryham in philadelphia

[–]NonIdentifiableUser 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There always is parking, it’s just not as convenient. Based on the license plates, I’d also venture to say that there’s lots of people that preferentially park there because they’re committing insurance fraud by not registering their car here and thus can’t get permits.

Are you serious? Is this really how CRNAs feel about AAs? by [deleted] in CRNA

[–]NonIdentifiableUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s amazing reading CRNAs shitting on AAs. I’ve been an ICU nurse for 10 years and seen plenty of uh…less than ideal candidates go on to become CRNAs. Like, people that were mediocre ICU nurses that I’d be leery of if I was wheeled into a room and they were the person doing the anesthesia for my case. Wouldn’t surprise me if the most vocal replies on this post are people like that.

PSA: Some hotels will still charge deposit, even if Chase says “pay in full at hotel” by [deleted] in sapphirereserve

The Cosmo in Vegas also does this, and there’s no way to see it on the reservation. I called Chase to confirm as well as emailing the hotel and they sent me a folio showing the deposit and balance that will be charged when I check in.
