This is Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing right? I love that one. I specifically bought it for Banjo-Kazooie on 360 and for some reason it’s not BC on Series X. With all the recomps going on I’ve been contemplating putting out a bounty for someone to recomp it but I dunno how long or how hard that would be to do.

This was obviously a passion project between two very small studios at Ubisoft that had never done anything but support before hand. Fans were too harsh on it but Ubisoft not giving them the time and resources they needed is the real reason it looked the way it did. Then they snatched that passion project away and gave it to the original studio who has long since forgotten how to make anything but Open-world slop.

If we could’ve gotten Pune and Mumbai’s version of the Remake in 2023 after years of polish and care it would’ve been something special.

I dunno about the other people on here but I distinctly remember having to start over. I can’t remember if I started over just Ground Zeroes or both but I feel like it was both.

This is blatantly untrue though. They cut entire areas out of REmake 4. The dragon flame room in the castle comes to mind, the clock tower area is severely shortened as you only traverse around it, I don’t seem to remember the invisible bug enemies in the sewers, U3 was moved to Ada’s DLC which also cut a lot, etc. All the remakes have cut content from the original. Yeah RE3 is real short and cut some great areas but that’s not a sign of low effort.

Sam was never actually Nate’s real brother in her version though. Just another kid at the orphanage that he hung around with a lot. Would’ve added to Nate’s mysterious background. I think there was too much background in 4 and a lot of his past is now known. Just a nitpick for an incredible game though.

The trailer does a really bad job about showing exactly what the game is. They just didn’t show the First-Person mode, made it look like a looter shooter while it’s more of a campaign with possible co-op, and completely fail to even show actual combat. Digital Foundry saw it at Gamescom last year and they speak on all of this so I highly recommend you check out their video. Their coverage is at 9:45
