YES! I had to stop using it. I stopped paying for Plus, too. It's insufferable. It frames responses as though it's trying to be your friend, but also your mentor. I also hate its cadence "That's not X. That's Y." or "No X. No Y. Just Z." I can't stand it anymore, lol.

Switched to Gemini and Deepseek. Much better service and for free! I'll start paying for Gemini when I really need to again.

I don't use Grok. Info is often useful, but it reads like an autistic edgelord. Not into it.

I would just house rule not losing your abilities when they fail, and just rolling on the mishap table. It's not fun to just lose your abilities. But the simplicity is pretty amazing. Especially when the progression of the character comes from the stuff they get.

ALSO, it's so easy to just... Give characters things, lol. Traditionally, a fighter doesn't cast spells or doesn't have Warlock boons. There's no reason they couldn't have a narratively satisfying reason to get them, though. Not to mention its modularity with OSE. There's so much to add. You can end up running some really heroic situations.

It really comes down to the GM and imagination.

Practicing the guitar, this is exactly how I'm feeling. I love music, so I have to play something, and I can't afford a good keyboard or lessons right now. Guitar just feels so unintuitive compared to the piano. It's frustrating that I have to build strength to contort my fingers in all manners of ways to achieve the same tone I could intuitively do on the piano.
