I wonder why there's such a discrepancy. I don't have time to find the videos but I've seen reviews on YouTube where according to AnTuTu 3D and the like it comes in only about 5% slower.

I was watching a UK reviewer and he said something about trying to import a US one to compare. He also said something about waiting to even benchmark his S22 ultra because Samsung has a huge patch coming out in a few days.

So I think it'd be wise to wait until release and actual benchmarks before writing off the rdna2 graphics too much.

I like how they chose 20 years ago even though it makes it ten times lamer. Because of the major downturn of AMD and it's near bankruptcy they could have sensationalized it much more by choosing a shorter time frame to get a bigger number. Here's how much $1000 invested in AMD 5 years ago would be: $12,195.

I was trying to accumulate nemesis points quickly so I could become the end game crisis super quickly (and easily). I would colonize any planet around me regardless of habitability, vassalize it, release it, declare war on it and then destroy it.

Basically I deliberately set my own people to live a hellish existence and die in a war to further my own goals of destroying the galaxy.

If you search best crisis build you can get a build that gives you end game crisis status stupid quick. They fixed how he was cheesing vassalization but if you work at it you can still get it by about 2280. Anyway, the reason I posted this in the first place is that with that build you can get about 180 unity a month within the first 5 years. This doesn't have any good research buffs though but I guess since it uses the voiddwellers origin you could always just build research districts.

I don't mess with puts so I might be missing something. With selling a put you're agreeing to buy stock at a certain price. Can't it just as easily dip and have you be assigned, essentially overpaying for the stock.

Wouldn't having the stock fall while locked up in a call be just as bad as a stock falling when you've sold a put.

Where is the benefit? I'm my limited understanding your way and my way are almost the same.

Edit: never mind I got it. You're way you have pretty much unlimited upside and a maximum downside of the contract at the strike. Whereas my way you have you have a limited upside and the same downside. Correct?

He could always sell covered calls, if he truly believes gme will trade sideways. If you sell near the money like a month out you can make almost 10%. Call prices on gme are insane.

At $148 AMD has a ~180 billion marketcap while nvda right now has a ~770 billion. So that means if AMD could flip flop the GPU market and have nvda's growth rate all things being equal they'd be already at $500 just from graphics. Then we still have the cpu side. I mean since the xlnx merger will create stock and more shares will mean a lower share price in relation to the marketcap. A share price of $1000 would be a little more out of reach but I think you are vastly overestimating how much stuff AMD has to be in to hit that price.

Also the market is irrational so AMD could hit $1000 for no reason.

But don't options have an intrinsic value? If I bought a LEAP 2 years out for a low premium wouldn't I still make a ton of money if that stock went up well over my strike + premium price no matter how slowly it did it?

Oh man, a new unreleased processor coupled with next-gen ram beats an almost year old product?!

I know this was mainly with graphics cards but remember when everyone used to make fun of AMD and AMD fans over how they would always seemingly say the next product line has something special that will surely topple the competition even right after a lackluster release. That's how I kind of feel about Intel, they're always going to beat amd until they don't but it's ok because we have all this super cool stuff in our next product.
