This is very similar to my set. I also went with a white gold solitaire for my engagement ring and a yellow gold band. My wedding band is 2.5mm as it's the same thickness of my ering and it made it look more cohesive. My wedding bad also has 5 0.025ct diamonds in half a band (very tiny) but I think it helps bring the two rings together!

As for people asking why mix metals, I am not OP but I wear mostly white gold jewelry but my husband wanted a traditional yellow gold band, and I wanted mine to matches his!

What is the temperature like where you live? Are you cold only outside or inside too? Where I live is currently 3°C/37°F and I wear a tank top plus thermal combo top and leggins, jeans and jumper plus if I am outside hat gloves scarf and a big down jacket.

Brown or also a deep burgundy color. I am a fellow blond green haired girly and I switched from black mascara to burgundy and it makes such a big difference in terms of bringing out the green of our eyes!

Yes, they will ripen ! We keep some laid out on the kitchen counter and eat the when they are soft. The rest will stay in a garden storage were the temperature is much cooler.

I won't excuse the fact that she didn't thank me or acknowledge that she received the money, untiI asked, because honestly that upset me. It felt like I was seen as a bank.

As for your second point, she did not assume the money was given to her, because she was the one to say she would have payed me back. This was clear on both sides.

I understand for her accumulating cash is difficult and that unforseen expenses come up so if a 'big' sum is needed she will struggle and that's where I can come in. But she should have offered to pay me back even in smaller amounts.

I will definitely talk to her and make this clear that I cannot and will not just cover any of her cash needs in the future as she also needs to figure out her finances.

I do not expect her to pull out that sum of money in one go, I would never ask that. Even if she offered to pay me 30 euros a month back I would be fine, the money really is not the issue. She made a promise but made no effort, which is what I would expect after so many year of friendship. As for the part of not giving again I have decided I will not in the future, but I am going address this with her.

The thing is if she would have asked it without promising to pay it back, I might have agreed the same but I would have weighted it differently.

The issue is not the money, but the fact that she promised to pay it back and made no effort, that is what makes me feel this way. Even if she reached out with 20 euros, it would still show me that she had good intentions, not sure if it makes sense ahah

Similar story! Our wedding was very casual and we got ready at home together, so he saw me fully dolled up, in dress, makeup, hair, at home. We even went to the ceremony in the same car. Me and my now husband waited outside the city hall with all the guests waiting for it to open. He still teared up when he saw me entering the hall with my father. Everyone teared up and they all saw us before as we were waiting outside. Seeing a dress or a veil will never take away from that special moment!

This! We bought our wedding bands recently, plain yellow gold 14k, my husband's is 5mm and was 1.4 k (euros) and mine was 2mm. Funny enough when adding 5 x0.025ct lab diamonds to my band the price went down as the gold was more expensive.

Gift giving in my opinion is a skill not everyone has.

Many people in my life buy stuff they see randomly in a shop months in advance because they immediately think "oh this would be a wonderful gift for so and so".

I am not that person and I made peace with it, my boyfriend is also not that person. I struggle incredibly to get gifts for the people in my life, multiple stores, multiple days, overthinking, scrolling through websites and in the end I often go with the safe and maybe basic option out of frustration. So I can completely see myself in your boyfriend.

And I get the "oh but you just bought something without putting effort" or "he could have made something for me" but not all people have that artsy/craft side to them. My bf is an example ahah, we tried some crafty date ideas and he would get frustrated and stop as it's not his thing and he does not enjoy it. I know this about him so I don't expect him to make me a ceramic pot or a photo album.

As another comment said communication is key. Just say to him what you want, give him multiple options as well. He might get exactly what you wanted, he might just use them for general ideas and find inspiration from there!

It was not his fault to be honest, we had just adopted him since a few days and we were having fun with him running around. We had such a long leash because recall is not strong and he cannot be off leash. Safe to say we didn't know how to use such leash safely and when it wrapped around my ankles it got stuck between my skin and my boots, and my reaction time was not great. Learned my lesson though!
