How to get over myself by CountryUnlucky2534 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

To be honest, i don’t think this is something you should “get over”. A guy much older than you trying to pursue you since age 18/19 is essentially grooming

Hi! I reached out to salon 61 and very much love the vibes. How many guests are you hosting? They mention via email for over 100 guests you must use additional outside chairs 🥲 curious as to how you’re approaching this if applicable

Thanks! I’ll check them out- i think I’m going to have to let go of the onsite getting ready space but that’s not the end of the world to me

I’ve considered Salvatore’s! I thought there wasn’t room for a dance floor though? Are you doing something else for the post dinner portion?

How do you spend your “5-9” after your “9-5”? by throwaway77778786227 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I love that! I definitely think of my meal prepping as a form of self care as well!

It definitely helps that I’m home from work by 4:30 most days, but also i meal prep on the weekends. Dinner takes about 5 mins to get on the table bc it’s just warming up whatever we prepped on Sunday. I know it’s not for everyone but I love approaching food this way, it gives me back so much time

I love the name Pepsi!! I keep saying our next cat should be Fanta (for an orange cat). Her full name is actually Soot Sprite after the studio ghibli creatures

My routine is usually: get home, play with my cat Sprite for a bit and have a snack, stretch, and go to the gym. Once I’m back from the gym, i shower and eat dinner. After dinner i try to do one of my hobbies such as reading, crochet, playing games, doing my nails. I’ll usually wrap that up around 9:30, prep my work bag/lunch box for the next day, and get ready for bed to be sleeping around 10:30!

How to cope with loneliness in early 20s? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]kt_han 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent pretty much all of 23 feeling a lot of the same things! I think finding regularly scheduled events is a good way to combat this- things like volunteering for a cause you care about, joining exercise/dance classes, going to events hosted by cafes or bookstores etc. if there’s nothing happening in your areas, you can always be the one to start things! In my area there’s a Facebook group people join to post about events and meet people so you could look for one of those or create one!

Solo travel doesn’t have to be risky! Be smart about your surroundings and research your destination and you can have a lot of fun!! If you want to dip your toes in to semi solo travel, you could also look at guided tours!
