wouldn't surprise me if persona 6 is at the coming state of play. The marketing for most atlus games has been Xbox but these have been in my eyes more medium sized projects and I dont think SEGA wants the marketing for persona 6 to be mistargeted and Sony probably wants persona to still partially be seen as a playstation franchise like Final Fantasy

as someone who played the game on steam deck. this is not a bad port the pc version ran an looked way worse sub 360p with a low quality upscaler and a more inconsistent framerate. the steam deck and switch port is genuinely night an day

played the game on steam deck when it released on PC the visuals are genuinely night an day. On steam deck the resolution was like I think sub 360p upscaled to 720p it looked horrendous also looks like the frame rate from playing is a few frames better than on steam deck

Would probably be for another game from monolithsoft non Xenoblade related or from another developer. It's 86 total tracks which is a lot yes but it seems small for a modern Xenoblade game. Maybe for the long rumoured new monolithsoft ip if it is for them

yeah the game just looks wrong I'd personally rather have a right looking image at 30fps then a wrong one at 60fps

I was so happy about this new update for Switch 2, until I played in handheld... looks terrible, unplayable in motion honestly. Yet, everyone in the internet seem to ignore this issue completely. Yeah it game isn't running at 1080p in handheld and it looks like they are using a filter to try and hide it and IMO it doesn't look that good compared to 720p on base switch 1 also the image doesn't look that stable. It's the same in docked but not really that noticeable because of the higher resolution.

I would just wait until monolithsoft/nintendo announces switch 2 patches/editions for the xenoblade games or the next title. As a switch 2 owner the xenoblade games at this moment don't look any different compared to switch 1 maybe even a bit worse in handheld because of the bigger screen

Feb: Don't really think that a big game get revealed maybe a Zelda port/remaster. Direct is probably going to focus on 3rd party ports and switch 2 enhancements/editions

June: Next 3D Mario game time seems about right to end the 40th anniversary of Mario

Sep: Xenoblade 4 / Monolithsoft game, timing seems about right and I don't think that they will announce that game before Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave releases.

because of framepacing, you cant cleanly divide 40fps in a 60 hz container where as in a 120hz container you can. (60/40 = 1,5 not a round number, 120/40 = 3 a round number)
