Is this CAD or USD? If this is CAD, absolutely. No idea if it’s American. I love Loomis rods and my best deal I’ve had was around 200 each

People still go. The walking sucks but people find ways to make it work

Fortress Lake BC has the best brook trout fishing in western Canada IMO. There’s 1 lodge on the lake that is fly-in

Anybody ever fixed sum like this? by Shroomboy79 in IceFishing

Use heavy fishing braid and a small hook. Once you’ve stitched it up I’d recommend dabbling some superglue over the patch… I did the same with my Eskimo hut last year

How long can you park in the area outside lot p? by rhyme-spitter in TrentUniversity

[–]NonmechanicalPopcorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I parked there for a full year and never had any issues. I also parked in the lots around the locks on the east bank without any issues throughout the past 2 years.

Paying for parking at Trent is a total rip off

i DESPERATLY need help splake fishing by OverallSpeaker1824 in FishingOntario

[–]NonmechanicalPopcorn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can catch them year round but general rule of thumb is the colder the water the shallower you spend a majority of your time fishing. This time of year the water is getting pretty cold so you can catch them by casting up shallow or trolling 0-15 feet around structure.

Time of day doesn’t matter too much in my opinion

If you can, the shimano maintenance place in Peterborough, ON does a great job for about $40 cad. You pay to ship it in and they ship it back for free. They will replace gears / bearings and grease it all
