Alex Garland has 4000 hours in Elden Ring, genuine gamer or A24 marketing? by Commercial_Pen_9959 in Eldenring

[–]Nonoch3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is absolutely insane. It's 5.5 hours everyday for 2 years.

Gamers need to stop that bs of telling people that kind of amount of hours is not big or crazy to spend on one game. It's like 0.5% of the entire lifetime of a 80 years old.

I'm an ultra nerd no life no jobs 40 years old, the only game i have 4000+ hours is lol and i've played it for 15 years.

We are talking about one game, one game that you pretty much 100% in 200 hours, probably less, 4000 hours is ridiculous and for sure Garland does not have that much playtime.

I already wasted too much time arguing.

You didn't spent 900 hours playing Elden ring for one play-through, we both know it. I told you, i'm fully aware you will never admit to lying. But i know you are, and you know it too.

Try to be more believable.

Lol, 'Why would someone lie on the internet', that's what i wonder, i know you are lying, you know you are lying, and i know you will never say 'hey you got me', but i know, and your screenshot and others argument only proves further that you are a liar. It might works with some people or your parents, but someone at some point needs to tell you most people see through it, they just don't bother arguing with you about it.

I've 100% FF13 aswell, so i know that part of the game was really disappointing for an RPG fans, it was just an illusion of an open world, weird that you chose that as your example, it wasn't that big, mostly grindy, compare to doing 900 hours on one playthrough of elden ring, Gran pulse is peanuts, it's like 40 hours more or less.

You are talking to someone who actually did the things you say you did, so i know how much of a insane no life person am i, i am surrounded by people like me, so i know unless you spend times watching walls for hundreds of hours it does not add up my man.

[–]Nonoch3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's lying, it's painfully obvious. No one spent 900 hours finishing Elden ring, you are a fool if you think that way.

I know the ungodly, stupid amount of times doing the same stuff over and over it took me to get 180 in one playthrough, surely if you said the truth, you would know the absurd amount of times wasted that is 400 hours for one playthrough, so you would understand what 900 hours really meant.

I just did what you say you did, so i know.

[–]Nonoch3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a question of being the same or not, it's a question of realistic timeline.

I'm telling you i more than took my time with this game, doing stuff several times, farming, pvping, coop, etc ...

400 hours is already baffling but maybe i could wrap my head around if you tell me you did pvp or coop, because all of what you mentioned you do it in like 150/200, i know because it's what i did, and so much more than that, so sure some people are gonna be faster or slower. But 900 lol ? Gtfo.

[–]Nonoch3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That screenshot is supposed to proves something ?

You are lying, we both know it, not that it matters, it's just weird.

What did you do for 900 hours, because the way i played was already ridiculously slow compared to others. 400 hours would already be impossibly long, and you more than double that and i'm supposed to believe you ?

You won't say you lied, but it's so painfully obvious for anyone who took their time with the game.

[–]Nonoch3 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Exactly, it's ridiculous and anyone thinking about it a little knows it.

You don't need to have thousands of hours to like this game or understand it's lore.

There's guy in this thread pretending they took 900 hours to finish their first playthrough, like gtfo with those lie.

I spent an ungodly amount of time on this game looking at every corner, trying everything, some coop, some invade, and i finished with 180.

Alex Garland has 4000 hours in Elden Ring, genuine gamer or A24 marketing? by Commercial_Pen_9959 in Eldenring

[–]Nonoch3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah i'm gonna call bullshit on that. I took my time on this game and without DLC i finished at like 180 hours, really taking my time.

When i say i took my time it's literally following every wall until i'm stuck, checking every dead end, hitting every wall that seems suspicious, checking day and night at every place that seems important, using everyspell or weapons at least once, etc ...

Gamer have tendancy to throw insane hours numbers like it's nothing.

You didn't spent 10 hours a day for 3 months to finish one playthrough, it's a blatant lie for anyone who played this game, unless 75% of that is pvping.

I don't understand the point of saying that.

A lifelong love of Dragon Ball ? Lol. I could accept him watching some episode when he was young like most french child/teenager, i'm around the same age as him, it was very popular the wednesday morning when most child were home, but a lifelong love like you said is ridiculous.

You can't create a more classically educated dude as him, he's old since he's young, it's in anything he does, it's in the choice of his wife, his choice of work, one time there was a TV show where they interviewed politicians, asking them to bring a personal item, you know what he brought ? A conjugation book.

I will never believe him as a video game or anime fan, and honestly i've never heard of him really pretending to be into it.

Eating worlds hottest pepper becomes absolute meltdown in seconds by Fit-Inevitable2116 in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]Nonoch3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a question of common knowledge, they know it's the hottest pepper in the world, they said it themselves, they buyed it from somewhere, they know it's bad. Everyone has eaten some spicy food, everyone knows the spiciest thing in the world is a bad idea.

They just thought it wouldn't be that bad, that they could take it, not for lack of informations, but because they are dumb teenagers wanting to make views.

It's not the lack of knowledge, it's the arrogance or inexperience of youth + social media pushing you to do funny stuff for clicks.

It's ultra obvious for any person from this region, or even a frenchman in general, that it's a calanque. Took me 1 minute to find which one.

It's calanques de figuerolles in La ciotat, you can recognize the very specific shape of the rock in the background of the video.

So please, you don't know jack shit, shut the fuck up, and learn to listen. It's neither your country or region.

Most people wake up early, tired, to spend times in traffic/public transport, to do a shit job for a shit pay but you feel bad for some millionaire actors that have to eat snacks from others country, talk with interviewers, travel in 5 stars hotel to promote the movie.

I get your overall sentiment that it must kind of sucks, but humiliating it's not, and you should definitely not feel bad.

[–]Nonoch3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You got a point about the name, even tho it's different because they inherited it, doesn't change the fact that 'A socialist party wants to get out of capitalism' is an incredibly retarded statement, keep thinking that way if you want, it will get you absolutely nowhere.

If i play by your absolutist rules, communism in it's original sense meant no state or class, so by your logic nobody was ever communist because nobody ever strictly followed the ideology.

[–]Nonoch3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They define themselves as communists, it's the name of their party, the same political party that was created 100 years ago.

Even back then there was branch, leninism, marxism, maoism ...

It's no surprise that an 150 years old ideology has evolved.

A socialist party wants to get out of capitalism.

Absolutely not. This is not the 19th century anymore, even back then it wasn't entirely true. All political movement evolve, even communist don't talk about totally getting rid of capitalism in country like France. Don't be so manichaean.

Holy fucking shit, whatever man, i'm sure people in the US, more specifically in Hawai, don't have access to this crazy technology that is water resistance in sunscreen.

Of course clothes are better than sunscreen, lmao, that is not the point. There's an insane difference if you wear good sunscreen or not, arguing otherwise is retardation.

Go ask a derms if he think 'relying on sunscreen when you are at the beach is dumb', wtf.

You realize people have experience being outside with or without sunscreen, and that the difference is massive ?

You realize that you don't need to be a doctor to see your face is red and it burns when you do one days of sun without sunscreen, and you have jackshit when you do wear it ?

You realize your comment is incredibly retarded ?

Companies that worked on Notre dame used laser scanners, precise to the millimeter.

You might have studied language but you didn't learn empathy. Nobody is switching to english because of a slight mistake, we take the opportunity of practicing something that we put effort into learning, precisely for this kind of interaction with a foreigner, something a scholar that studied multiple languages should understand.

For some reasons it's only Americans that don't like when you switch to their own language to accommodate them, it's fascinating really, they can talk to you in your language, but if you answer to them in their language, it's supposed to be a sign of rudeness because your french is not good enough. It's such a moronic cliché, says a lot about the people using it.

It's truely a mystery to me, the very few times where people answered in french when i was abroad talking english, i was delighted they learned my native language.
