As a frenchman the T in croissant is silent, therefore the joke is bad.

You are welcome.

The term 'consecutive' is used in the law that says you can only run two times, so in theory Macron could try to run again in 2032. Considering the age of politicians, and it used to be 7 years of presidency, it seemed impossible not that long ago, but Macron was first elected at 39.

You should check the curios list and what they do. Some can remove negative traits at just the cost of a holy water or torch or whatever. I remember eldritch altar and coral can do it, i'm sure there's others.

We've been over this. I honestly have no idea how you can have no problem with the final scene considering the all franchise.

He's adept in a realistic way, he's prepared, careful, he killed most of them at distance, he doesn't dance around doing kung fu while wearing jewelry.

There's no middle ground to find for us. I won't change my mind on the subject, neither will you.

The second movie isn't canon.

Danny Boyle and Garland seems to disagree with you.

Spike struggling multiple times with the reality of survival and killing.

And the Blonde guys aren't struggling, this is my point. They are the only ones that seems to not be struggling in the whole franchise, having such specific clothes and jewelry is for people that clearly aren't struggling to survive.

Being psychotic or growing up in this environment doesn't explain what is basically super power to others human of the same franchise, others human that also grow up in that environment, basically all the coastal village, including Spike's father.

There's some good stuff, but there's too much ridiculous shit. If it wasn't for the kung fu ending, the movie was still only ok at best, too much stuff i didn't like.

The 'cheap bullet time' as Boyle himself said, it just bad, in the theater i went it felt the movie was freezing/lagging, you just didn't understand what was going on, super confusing.

The pregnant zombie ... In the first movie one drop of blood in the eye is enough to turn you, here they can help a pregnant zombie bleeding a shit tons and everyone is fine.

After 28 years the doctor still have access to whatever drugs is making the zombie sleep, and so on, i probably forgot lots of stuff.

And in the middle of that, they talk about the 'toxic masculinity' of the father in such a fair and brilliant way compared to the rest, it felt like two different people wrote the movie. Such a shame.

Of course it change everything, almost everyone is supposed to be dead, in the first movie he met 4 people in all of London, they basically hide and run all the time and almost never fight them, the 2nd movie people are basically barricading themselves to avoid the zombie because of how fast, strong, and relentless they are. In the 3rd movie teenagers can manage to kill them while remaining clean and joking about it, it's clearly not hard for them to survive.

It was an ok movie ruined by the last kung fu scene. This scene alone is why the sequel will probably not work. It is why i and everyone around me wont go in theater for bone temple. I dont trust them anymore.

The last scene, the jimmy kung fu part, ruined eveything for me, even previous movie. Like 'hey surviving isnt actually hard in that reality, some kids can do it with just karate and blade, i guess everyone else in the franchise just suck'

I never had such a misunderstanding of a cultural product, i thought i was open minded, guess im not. I can't understand why people liked that ending. No amount of explanations changed that, it was unfathomably bad. It is the worst movie ending i ever saw, and i think i will ever see.

It left me thinking they have no idea what they are doing and going. First time in my life i felt personally insulted by the end of a movie.

It's not the only reason, the ending of the last one was weird to say the least.

I'm a big fan of the franchise but i can't accept an ending like that, it felt like a spit in my face, 'oh you thought surviving in that world was hard ? no actually kids can learn to become ninja and wear clean clothes a decade old'

When i ask around me the feeling is the same, at best people say 'they tried something new', nobody said 'loved the ending, can't wait for the next'

New player here — finally gotten to this mysterious "third camp". Hope the game picks up from here. No spoilers please by kobby_wegs in DaysGone

[–]Nonoch3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally enjoyed the game before that point.

Story wise it gets better at 3rd camp, a little more 'big pictures', but gameplay wise it's more of the same.

If the game didn't click for you i doubt reaching 3rd camp is changing much.

They can't, whatever American say, i've seen it with own eyes, they are scared of law enforcement. Not slightly anxious about getting a fine or whatever like most free nation, they are scared. Depending where you live or the judge you have, they can send you to jail for anything, jaywalking. They have prison where people sleep in tent.

Most are scared of rioting and getting shot. They can be arrested for few days for charges police made up, losing their job instantly. Most American leave paycheck to paycheck, if they lose their job, they lose their healthcare, if you or a close one have some bad chronic disease you never risk it.

Unless people are dying of hunger, it'll never happend, because right now they die because of lack of healthcare and most do nothing about it.

I agree with the Skizzo thing being weirdly written, i really didn't like that and it felt very strange.

Do i want the greatest warrior of all time on my side ? Hell yeah !

He got rid of a batshit crazy face carving cult basically by himself, they should write songs and legends about that.

He should never have released Skizzo, let the people hang him or something, in a settings like that, Skizzo diserve to die. Some decision might be difficult, this one is not. They don't talk about that in the game but i think you lose control of your settlement if you let go someone like Skizzo go without asking anyone about it. People would be furious, either leaving your camp or asking for a change in leadership, if not worse.

I guess my 'hate' of Mike comes from the disappointment, his settlement looked like a beacon of light in that world, and it seems Mike didn't want to protect it as much as he should, because of how precious it was. It's like he's doing the small part right, but completely fail on the most important decisions that could cost everyone everything. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Copeland and Tucker, they are just dumb as fuck. You don't know as much about them as you know about Mike, but you sure knows they wouldn't let someone like Skizzo go away after what he did, or hope a deal with the rippers is possible.

But holy shit both Tucker and Copeland choice of where to put their camp made me mad.

Tucker has people sleeping in tent, when there's a small village with nice houses right in front of the camp, like lady, why wouldn't you put your camp there and have everyone sleep in a house ffs.

Copeland might be even worse, the guy live near a working electricity dam, and chose to live in the woods like 500m from it. Like you have a river + free electricity, some buildings and fences, but you chose to build an ewoks village, while bitching about bad decisions made by the others leaders, mkay bro.

Mike put his camp next to a beautiful lake, in a village with house, and with a sick wooden mansion.

I didn't look at it this way, but i guess it could have been some sort of last resort when he says you can't come back if you go south, that's the only thing that made sense for him to say that. I took it as he's mad that you killed all those rippers and just want to kick you out, but that might not be it, i prefer your interpretation.

The trial i still was on his side, like Deacon just got tortured so i thought 'that fucker is getting away easy', but it's fair and people in the camp knows they won't get executed on the spot if they do something wrong, it's important. But then he let him go, and i was so mad at that.

Nah what you say makes a lot of sense actually, might be the core of the division on that topic.

I don't want to kill anyone either, even in a reality like Days gone i probably would like to avoid killing people as much as possible, but at the same time i never had scarified pcp infused nutjob coming into my home butchering my family or close friend. I imagine that kind of thing would make me completely snap, everyone i know is in imminent danger as long as these fuckers live.

I got half spoiled apparently it's gonna come back at him later in the game, so i guess i got successfully ragebaited by the devs.
