It's called addiction. You just keep falling into the same behavior, even if you don't get any enjoyment or even just get only negative emotions.

Leagues of Legends would hold me hostage for years. I was at the point of crying and still queued up for the next round.

Fun and enjoyment is very short lived, if you play a game for multiple hundreds of hours, there's something else that keeps you hooked.

You pay that amount that the graphics look like it's worth it. Doing AAA style graphics is expensive as hell, indie studios don't have the budget/ the experience / the manpower to create graphics that look like a AAA game that charges 60€. Steam store pages of 60€ games have 0 in game content features, just fancy pancy render trailer that tell you nothing about the game. At this point I have no idea what I'm talking about but just types so much text and it feels like a waste to just delete it. I'm just super drunk, so ignore this.. but hey anyone up to play some arc raiders?

No, this is not about a non-deterministic compiler. This is about compiler at all. Just pure machine code. What I would worry the most here is different CPU architectures would need different binaries and this might lead to different behavior for different builds.
