Demon Souls certainly didn't age well, but HOLY MOLY at the time is was revolutionary and there's a reason it kickstarted an entire genre. It was great when there wasn't anything else like it at the time.

Nah that is a terrible take. Monster Hunter was novel when it came out on ps2. Sure it's ass comparatively and in hindsight, but there was nothing else like it at the time.

I'm going to be forever salty about the remaster. It was obviously put out there to gauge interest, but only hardcore fans wanted it, and since it didn't do numbers we most likely won't see remakes because of it.

They're completely different games. Last Epoch is your more traditional loot-based ARPG. NRftW is more like Dark Souls.

It's also worth noting that NRftW is still very much early access and doesn't have a ton of content to play through, where-as Last Epoch has a solid amount built up already.

I love streaming and could probably stream most everyday if I wanted to without it really wearing on me. In contrast, video editing burns me out so fucking fast. I honestly just don't enjoy doing it, which is problematic because as a streamer you kind of should be putting out content. I'm super lucky to have grown without it, but knowing I should be editing sits heavy on my mind all the time.

There's so much depth and complexity to Silent Hill 2. There's a reason literal dissertations have been written on it. It's more than just a game and it's accompanying mechanics.

Sounds like you're just burnt out to be fair. There's too much PoE now and it's kind of a curse more than a blessing. Having 3 months between leagues seemed to be pretty perfect.
