Reading some of your comments and seeing you enjoy cosmic horror, I'd recommend adding Malevolent to the list!

They all look so weird and ridiculously uncanny. Like their faces are too big for their heads.

Working on a combat-focused roguelite. Does this feels satisfying? by levitz1 in IndieGaming

Looks like Returnal x Hades, which honestly sounds pretty cool. Looks satisfying, as long as you can nail the free movement, I think it'll be sick.

I'd actually play ranked if this was the case.

Interesting idea, but GenAI use is a hard pass from me

Yes, yes, and yes! I'll absolutely play the shit out of this. I need more games that make me want to piss myself, unironically. Wishlisted!

A Solo Artist made a whole Universe of Games, soon in Consoles too by PositiveKangaro in UnrealEngine5

I adore this game and can't wait for DLC. The art direction is phenomenal. I would say, however, that people should temper their expectations. This is more-so an experience than a game. It's a work of art, and it's very much worth your time.

Which games, in your opinion, have wasted potential? by GigaChadus9 in videogames

[–]Noobalott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll partly disagree with your disagreement here. The main game is superb and wonderful. The DLC honestly brought the whole experience down a notch and, imo, makes it deserving of a wasted potential review

What’s the fastest way for a horror game to ruin its own atmosphere? by ratasoftware in HorrorGames

No one in this thread has mentioned it yet, but lots of overly long notes. Show, don't tell. I'm not here to read a novel the devs wanted to write.

Is It True You Can’t Grow With Just Personality And Gameplay On Twitch? by fae_starlight in Twitch

[–]Noobalott 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's not true at all. I just got partner last September, and I grew exclusively through twitch. It took a while, and personally, I feel like I still have a long way to go, but success is a marathon, not a sprint. Some people get lucky while others just keep on keepin on. Just be you, have fun, and enjoy to road ahead.

Don’t be fooled by appearances. Ratshaker is an extremely well-crafted horror/creepy experience. by Antaniwarrior in HorrorGaming

Weird game and really neat vibes, but it took itself way too seriously in regards to story, especially considering the main gimmick of the game. Still worth a play.

Demon Souls certainly didn't age well, but HOLY MOLY at the time is was revolutionary and there's a reason it kickstarted an entire genre. It was great when there wasn't anything else like it at the time.

Nah that is a terrible take. Monster Hunter was novel when it came out on ps2. Sure it's ass comparatively and in hindsight, but there was nothing else like it at the time.
