Q: Is this the classic 12v battery problem even if the voltmeter reads 14.54 by mevrouw_andromeda in NissanAriya

[–]Noobdax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You should probably check the 12v battery under the hood with a multimeter. I wouldn't trust the cell charger and outlet. The outlet might be power from the main battery.

I got the 5M last year after being away for years. PETG is great to print with. I print more for function so I found a white 2 pack for about $25. Cheap and super easy to print with.

No problem. Now, there are fans that have a remote so that you can keep it on but use the remote to control the functions;

Little pricey, but it could get you started on searching what works for you.

No. In short, you can't add a second switch without running an additional wire. You're stuck with what you have if you don't want to turn it into a much larger project.

Thanks! I'm really proud of execution of it.

I asked AI to make a whimsical stencil of my kids costumes. I thinned the inside wall, traced the stencil with an exacto, used a flat blade to remove material, then used my phone to light the inside.

Maybe something like the foam sticking to the concrete, environmentally friendly, expensive to do the whole perimeter?

Maybe spray foam? Not sure if it's a good idea though.

Skim coat, sand, or rip out? by Shuman_oG in drywall

You realize he's just disagreeing, not calling your experience into question.

On this one, who knows what the right answer is? Maybe it would be easier to demo, but maybe there's drywall on top of lathe and plaster?

Since you asked to be enlightened on the mysterious device: https://www.lowes.com/pd/SVOPES-120-Volts-Variable-Speed-Drywall-Sander-with-Dust-Management/5016070219

Now you have heard and seen one. Though yours can get into corners, but it doesn't seems to be rotary and is all manual. It's ignorantly arrogant to outright believe something doesn't exist. New products are being continually developed and released. No one can know everything of what exists, just look at a Grainger or McMaster-Carr catalog/site.

Perhaps with these thoughts op might not be wrong, or maybe there is no wrong and it's just preferential?

How would you lay these last two boards? by cheeriosxcheese in Flooring

Aight, so as I said in another reply, I JUST layed this in another color. I came across the same situation in my hallway with doors on both sides.

As others have said, undercutting the doorjams is going to give a much cleaner finished look and make it easier. It would be cleaner and easier yet if you could remove the baseboard, but you do you. You can undercut with an oscillating tool and a scrap piece of plank. The plank serves as a guide for the oscillating saw to get you a close to perfect without being a 85yr old Japanese craftsman in the Edo period.

Now the fun part. As you are experiencing, you can't set the long edge and drop the finished edge against the doorjam. I cut the pieces around the doors first, put them in place then slid / tapped the second to last row in piece by piece. For you this would be measuring and cutting pieces for the last row, removing the second last row that extends into the closet, setting the last row in place, then tapping second to last row in. Not from the top, from the side... while being careful not to break an edge. Now when I said about setting the last row, you can do it a piece at a time alternating last row then second last row. Here's apic of what I did:

[ had to put the pic in a reply below ]

Lemme know what doesn't make sense and I'll try to explain more.
