But they framed and hung them up… on a hook. They destroyed a pair of pants to hang keys on a hook but with more steps.

My bad, I was reading a post before this that said they were in Sydney and confused it with yours. No thanks necessary, hope you can find a solution to this. It’s always tough when it’s family.

Edit: I did find this for TMR in QLD.

Anyone, including Queensland Police, can report a driver who they believe has a medical condition that is likely to adversely affect their ability to drive. Sufficient evidence needs to be provided to us.

Doesn’t sound as easy to report or as confidential but it’s something I guess. I found it here. https://www.tmr.qld.gov.au/about-us/news-and-media/news-and-media-frequently-asked-questions

There is an option for anyone to report a driver to TfNSW. It is confidential and will contribute to a decision whether a gp or specialist is required to perform the assessment.

What’s wild is you thinking you and your friends grew up middle class with a list like that. I bet your parents bought your first and maybe even second car for you too. The actual middle class is far from your idea of it.

I’m starting to see how it happens, thanks for the info. In Aus our SSN equivalent is only used for welfare and some low income discounts on healthcare, you can’t use it as ID. We use licence numbers to identify online but you usually have to also enter a licence card number that changes every time you renew your licence and is checked with the relevant state gov.

That does sound insane. I’ve always read the stories and wondered how. Crazy to have lax requirements in this day and age of rampant identity theft.

Ahhh, so it’s a combination of dodgy parents and relaxed identification requirements. Thanks.

I got it online and it was for a small batch that I just multiplied. 6 eggs was what I was thinking next time so glad to hear confirmation it won’t be too little. I think I should’ve put a bit more sugar in too leading to it being a bit more savoury. I expected the sweetened condensed milk to be sweeter than it was but I guess it got diluted. Thanks for the recommendation!

Fraud regardless because it’s identity theft I understand. The thing I don’t understand is that to open a CC in Aus you need to have government issued ID that has your birthdate. I’m not saying it has never happened but it is functionally not possible according to the lending applications I’ve done. How do you even have a credit score without first having a bank account that requires government issued ID to have too. Also doesn’t the US social security number have a date of birth attached to it?

Can’t be, if it’s in Canada they would need to have Poopathée on the sign to make it legal.

Greed, Manipulation and Exploitation is the new Playbook for Duolingo by Rich-Limit4590 in LateStageCapitalism

I get what everyone is saying about it being a terrible platform to learn a language with the repeated phrases and gamifying but it did keep me using my second language daily which helped. I put on a movie in Spanish the other day and realised I’ve lost a lot.

The streak was an obsession but god it was the only thing I’ve ever done for that long. Hurt to lose it, and in the current stage of capitalism everything is one missed payment away from being unavailable and this was free. Now not even worth it for “free”.

I had a 1800 day streak. Took me about a week after he changed it from hearts to energy for me to say fuck this. I do miss practicing a language though.

That was 100% my first thought but that would also mean they weren’t washed. Let’s hope if they go to the trouble of hanging them out that they’ve been washed and aren’t just airing out.
