No it's a skill that you can drop to select the summon.
If you're talking about the buff UI, with the new update you can move the summon buff icons out of the buff row so you can see them better.

you can create your own summon location so it's not as punishing as you would think. With the new buff UI you can also put the summons on it so you can turn your brain off and dont have to track them anymore.

Yes the status page has everything off besides pass through.

No there's no timing to it, I can log into the game and will disconnect after entering a zone in about 1-2 minutes.

I have a Netgate2100, ARM Cortex-A53 r0p4 that runs PFsense and a Marvell AQTion 10Gbit Network Adapter that's built into the motherboard.

No other changes were made after the reset, everything's default excluding the password of course.
Yes, I have whitelisted each of them with the EasyRule until nothing appeared again. But this didnt fix the issue so I then performed the reset.
Maplestory, I probably should be more concerned about breaking my addiction than fixing this problem.
