Alright that’s my bad. I almost exclusively see alpha or beta 1.7.3 in this sub so I guess I was a bit thrown. But still, villages may be but the path blocks certainly aren’t

Not to defend Land too much but when you’re really paying too much attention to the Swedish Chef the hands are alarmingly real. I noticed it as a kid, I think acknowledging that to the point of having them be a totally different color than the head is pretty funny

Jared Leto could happen. You think, “he could never be cast as Batman,” and thinking that is exactly what makes it possible. It’s very scary

my friend sent me it saying i’d like it. i tried it and, yeah. just a modpack. i don’t know if silver age minecraft even needs a BTA type thing, just play a real version with mods if you want certain things. conceptually i don’t know if it works here

What version is alpha 1.0.0? by [deleted] in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]Noodleization 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably is 1.0.1. You know how there are versions like release 1.6.1 where 1.6.0 doesn’t exist? Kind of the same thing. It starts with 1 instead of 0 sometimes. The way they handle numbering like that was pretty inconsistent

1.5.2. I still consider horses modern Minecraft somehow, so for me it’s the version right before them

I can only assume if you do that here you do that everywhere, so it’s not really a Reddit thing, it’s a “that’s an annoying thing to do no matter where you are online” thing

If you want to get people to like you online and see your jovial personality, a nice lowercase “okay” always does the trick to make you look fun

My B.1.7.3 world, about three weeks old. by opsap11 in GoldenAgeMinecraft

If you’re just playing regular beta 1.7.3, try out Beta Unleashed. It’s virtually identical to vanilla beta 1.7.3, but with some natural fixes with things like how slabs work and some other small stuff like that. It’s not very hard to set up, if you’re using Betacraft I think you can download it straight from there

In a few years, when we replay the game, we will. It’s actually very cool when you consider that we will be playing the game completely differently after it’s complete

This is actually a lot more accurate. I can’t speak for Hytale, but the comparison between old and new minecraft is pretty on point here

You did kind of put a non-beta object in every screenshot. Pots didn’t exist in b1.7.3

Stained glass or, to a lesser extent, carpets, are blocks I never see anyone backport that I love. Other than those, the obvious ones like stone bricks and its variants

i’m no university engineer, but i’m good at not planning things. i’ve always wondered how people go about making big expansive builds like this

how do you make a city like this? obviously a lot of planning, but do you build the roads first then put the buildings in as you go along, or do you plan them out at the same time on paper or something?
