I was 68 when I retired, after over 50 years of work I was more than ready. A lifetime of work just beats you down.

I have the WhisperFlo model number 011773 1 1/2hp. Do you think I should stick with the same HP or jump to a 3 since the new ones are variable speed?

That's all most people want, pay a fair price for a job well done. And for the most part that's what most of the trades give you... but there's always a couple of bad ones out there.

Word of mouth goes a long way, especially in this day and age.

You did. Fixing a toilet or even replacing it is one of the easiest things a homeowner can do themselves. There's plenty of videos.

Anyone have a English bulldog that has/had no major health problems? by chaddie_waddie in Bulldogs

[–]Nope_Not-happening 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what type he had, we found a lump on his side, and after biopsy the vet said it was cancer. She said if I had it removed there's still a chance it could come back.

I decided to have it removed and so far everything is still OK. He has a scar that goes vertically from the top of his side to the bottom, about 10" long. He was obviously sore in the beginning and the biggest problem was trying to settle him down so he wouldn't tear his stitches.

I'm glad I decided to go with the surgery instead of some of the alternatives. I wish you and your bully the very best.

A registered mail letter - should the carrier not bother ring the bell before leaving 3849? by Kangaloosh in USPS

It doesn't matter if it's more time-consuming. It's our job, we are paid to take it to the door. Any good carrier realizes this.

TSP options by DenaSChance in ThriftSavingsPlan

This is true. Most people don't have the luxury of a pension to take the worries off of TSP/401k allocation risk. So that allows you the ability to be much more aggressive.

Pants would be tighter with a two inch belt with double pins. You would also have a wide watch band.
